“9 miles south of Idaho's whitewater capital”
CPRV IS Located 9 miles south of Riggins – “Idaho’s Whitewater Capital.” We have 2200 feet of the Little Salmon River to the west and are at the base of the Little Salmon River Canyon at an elevation of 2300 feet, which provides weather protection from the storms that affect the high country. As a result we are open year ’round. Six thousand feet above us are the Seven Devils, the Idaho wall of Hells Canyon. Resort has 54 sites, each with a 12-foot wide gravel driveway and 18 feet of grass. Lengths vary from 29 to over 60 feet. Each site has 20/30/50 amp power, water with pressure relief, telephone jack and a TV coax connection. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the Resort. In the center is a building housing restrooms and showers, a complete laundry facility and a 500 sq. ft. Recreation Room with sink, cabinets, microwave, piano, game tables and more. This building has heated tile floors and is air-conditioned. Our proximity to the river requires Dump Stations. There are two, accessible from either direction. Additionally, for our extended stay guests we have a honey wagon and can pump out your grey and black water tanks in-site.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 09, 2022This place is clean, attractive, orderly, and has about everything you might want in a stopover RV park. This is my second time here, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I came back!
Parking spaces are level gravel, separated by generous green lawn areas with a picnic table. There’s an easily visible entrance right off Rte 95; the interior loop road is paved. The office/general store has about anything you might expect, and they even make fresh pizza which they deliver to your site. The two bicyclists who were next to me said it was really good. There’s a post office station if you want to send postcards. Or pay bills.
Bathroom/shower areas are immaculate: so clean they make you want to clean up after yourself so Mom doesn’t yell at you. The laundry room is spacious, light, and clean, and has a nice couch so you can wait in comfort.
There’s water and electric service at every site, and a dump station which can handle two rigs simultaneously. They sell propane if your tank needs topping off. I think the owners live in a residence behind the store/office. There’s a small vegetable garden, just as well-kept as everything else. (I’m sure it’s for the owners, not for us!)
If you can, get a site on the river side of the oval: not only is there a great view of the water, and the soothing sounds of rapids, but there’s more shade if it’s hot.
The camp wifi was reliable and password-protected. Solid Verizon service if you’re near the office; ATT is visible but not useful. (Maybe with a booster?)
There’s no downside. There’s lots to do in the general area. There’s a good playground for kids, and a basketball hoop. David and Sandy Evans are working hard to make this a business to be proud of. They should be. No, I don't know them. Their names are on the web site: http://www.canyonpinesrv.com.

Beautiful campground with very nice owners. They make a point to come around and talk to campers and make sure everyone is happy with their campsite. Restrooms and showers were modern and very clean as was the campground. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Not full hookups (W/E only) but dump station on site. Clean, well maintained, great staff, low highway noise. A little awkward navigating into the park & having to make a U-turn immediately upon entering to get to the office. Poor WiFi signal in this area.

This place was immaculate! Such a nice spot along the river! Very well maintained, beautiful green grass areas between very level sites. We were able to do morning yoga on such nice grass! We are in a small boondocking teardrop without a bathroom so we occasionally treat ourselves to a “fancy night” at an RV park (: we were originally planning to stay in one closer to Riggins, but pulled in and realized for all the money they were asking, there wasn’t even a bathroom, so we ended up here. So much pride in their park and it shows! The general store had all the right stuff at reasonable prices, the bathrooms, a luxury for us, were spotless. Would definitely return!

This was one of the best RV parks we have stayed in. Clean and maintained.
Path to Little Salmon River. Sites have good spacing. Management/owners were very accommodating.
No sewer hookups due to being close to river. Two dump stations available.
WiFi not to good.
Town of Pollock very close. Lots of shops and eateries.
On Hwy 95 but not bothered by noise.

After driving through three packed FCFS recreation areas on my way south on 95, refusing to be crammed next to massive rigs half of which were running their generators (on an 80° day), I decided it was time for my plan B. (By the way, this was a Thursday early afternoon in early June.)
And what a treat! I was fortunate that they had a spot available--reservations are highly recommended. Beautiful, peaceful park with wonderful hosts and pitches right on the river. Clean shower room and laundry facilities. No sites have sewer but they have a dump site. Well stocked store.
Good Wi-Fi in site 30.

Nice park and easy to get a reservation. David was super nice and helpful. He actually parked our rig because we came in the wrong way. The entire place was nicely maintained and clean.
Ok, not as nice as Riverside Rv Park 8 miles north.
