“Old Times, Good Times”
Opened in the fall of 2010, MoonRiver RV Resort is the newest and most extensive RV Park in Eastern Washington. We have 112 luxury lots situated on 12.5 beautiful acres in the Columbia Basin. Offering private fenced lots and first class amenities plus the beautiful vistas of the Columbia Basin and the convenience of the nearby Tri-Cities, our park offers something for everyone. The resort includes a full service clubhouse with an old fashioned soda pop shop where you can get your favorite candy or ice cream. The shop as well as the entire resort invokes the fun and friendly atmosphere of a simpler time gone by. Take a dip in the swimming pool on a hot summer day or enjoy a cup of coffee by the fire in the rec room on a cold day. Our motto "Old Times, Good Times" says it all... Please explore our website to see pictures of the resort and to learn of the many amenities we offer. Explore photo galleries and links to the Tri-Cities and the Columbia Basin where you will find over 300 days of sunshine each year, scenic beauty, sports and recreation - all within minutes of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers. If you would like to receive more information or make a reservation, see the "Reservations" page. Whether you stay with us for a week or a year, we look forward to greeting you as our neighbor.

Beware this is nothing more than a big gravel lot with only a few spots that are premium sites that have grass. The RV's are literally parked end to end, your front will be very close to the rear of someone else's trailer. The complex itself is surrounded by an industrial section of town.

woah... I gotta help balance out the 1 star that I feel is unfair. I stayed at this park for a few months back in 2018 while working in town. I stayed in both the old and new part. They had a plan to keep expanding, so not sure if that has happened or not. I believe the photos on this site do accurately show the unique parking/site design.
Pros: roads are really wide for navigating, you get your own private fenced grass lawn. I tossed up a little gate from Home Depot on each side and my dog could wander in/out of the rv at will and still allow them to mow the lawn. I'll post of picture of her enjoying her private patio/yard. It was a great win win. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating (it is hard to get a long-term spot in this town). I found the monthly rate reasonable. I liked the undeveloped field next-door where Millie could wander off-leash to explore the trails and track rabbits. You are within 5 min of the river and the paved trail that runs along it for many miles. You are 10 min to a great big dog park (I'll post a picture of it)
Cons: I have a class A, so I get a view of the rig in front of me. However, I have a more distance from my neighbors (side-2-side) than any rv park I have seen in 6 years. I find the sites an interesting concept. The 2 biggest issues are the trains (the park is next to the rail line) and the potato processing plant on the other side fo the tracks will daily shoot shotguns to scare off the birds from hangin out to grab the waste they store in big bins.
So, there you have it. The good, bad, ugly. For me the train and gunshots makes it not my first pick, but a decent 2nd choice.

The employees are top notch. They are friendly and have a lot of good information of the area. We have been living FT in RV for years. This is absolutely the worse place we have stayed ever. If you are deaf this place may be suitable. Planes, trains that use their horns unnecessarily 24/7, helicopters and trucks using compression breaks which are illegal in city of Richland but it’s not enforced by the RPD so who gives a crap. Then there’s the beautiful view of many abandoned RV’s, cars, building materials and ‘the crap pasture’ that the tenants use for dog poop disposal so if you go for a walk you need to look down all the time. Save your money and sanity and stay as far away from here as humanly possible.
