Absolutely wonderful people live in this town. They told us about this place while we were at one of the two bars in town. Both of which are worth checking out by the way. Free camping for 7 days. Walk to the bars. Dump station down the street. I saw a spicket for water at the campsite but not sure it works. We didn’t try it.

We stopped here for a couple of nights in May. It has a several back in spaces and 2 pull through spaces, picnic tables, standing charcoal grills, and fire rings. There are cow pastures near and you can smell them a little but it didn't bother us. There are a few old farm buildings around, and a dirt road that a few trucks went down while we were here. There is a store close by in the town and a dump station for RVs less than a mile away. We stayed here in a 38ft motorhome with a towdolly and care attached (approximately 58ft total) and had no problem pulling into one of the pull through spaces.

Although this gem was small, access was easy for any size rig (and we are long). We used one of the pull through sites, no hook ups but we have 3200 watts of solar so no issue with power.
The sheriff came around to check on us so that made us feel good. The local folks were welcoming.
There is a city dump station with fresh water a mile from the campground.
We used this as a base camp to see Craters, Arco, Atomic, Shoshone, Twin Falls and the Sawtooths....all within 90 minutes!
A real hidden gem

Stayed here for 3 nights in early Oct and we were the only one in the park.. the site are gravel adn mostly level.

THere are two pull through and 6 back in sites. not many trees for the most part so good for solar,, there are no hookups but with 460 on RV and 335 on top of pickup it was not a problem.

the water was off but just up the road at dump, past the school, the water is potable according to Ron the guy that help build the park..

The name UnHenge come from the rock formation you see on the right down by the bridge.. it was not be confused with Stonehenge hence the name.

The area is pretty quiet day and night. not a ton of dark skies but you can see a lot of stars and I was able to catch a bit of milky way before moonrise over the lava fields.

Yes lava fields..

This on the way to Craters of the Moon NP which is a high amount of lava,, reminds us of a trip to big island Kona side and all the lava flows you see. it truly is amazing.. there is a campground at the welcome center as well.

ALso you are not that far from Sun Valley,, home to the rich and famous,, with homes in the area. it takes about 50 mins to either location CMNP, or Sun Valley.

This little park is a gem with a 7 day limit, but I bet you can get more if needed,, just see Ron in town.. ( don't be surprised if you don't see a guy (Ron) drive up in a red honda ATV he is a nice guy and helped build the park)

the water at the free dump ,which is straight down road out of the park, cross the Hwy and it on left past school 1/4 mile away, has good potable water that is not treated chlorine or fluoride. good pure water from a 500 ft well down through lava. (tested with TDS at 171)

Att data on hotspot was 8.1 meg on Fast and 21 on speedtest
t-mobile was 1.5 on phone

bring a fly swatter or three.. the flies here are many. I put a fly strip up in 3 days it got almost full.. better to get on of the good fly traps and hang in the tree to help.. ( i personally killed 300 +flies, it is quite fun.. )

Small, free municipal RV park with 5 back-in and two pull-through spaces, right at the south end of Main St in Richfield.
Level spaces hand loop in campground all well maintained gravel.
Only a handful of flies for us.

Spent 2 days here while checking out Craters of the Moon. Site was gravel. Relatively level. Very quiet. Central area with fire pit and grill and covered picnic table. Did not use dump station at other end of street. Keep driving down Main Street past the end of paved area. Camp area off to right. Area was clean and was mowed while we were there. Cattle visited us in morning!

I tried to reserve, but never heard back. I suspect this is because it’s a quiet season, not summer. I pulled in and found the site empty. Chose a lovely and private corner and settled in. Happy to find a handicap accessible port-a-potty, along with fire pits and covered picnic area. Gorgeous sunset!

The website says to call to reserve but the lady that answered said it’s first come. There was only 1 camper there when we stayed and it looked like they may be staying many days. Their dogs weren’t leashed and they ran after everything. We just shut our doors and slept and got up early to get a cave permit at the crater of the moons —-absolutely the best…don’t miss it! Anyway the trash hasn’t been picked up and was overflowing, but other than the things I mentioned, it was a lovely stay. Can’t beat free!
