We thought we’d camp here because they had decent reviews. We pulled up on Friday at noon and no one was in the office (office hours 11-2 daily). We followed the self- registration instructions and registered ourselves for site 7, which according to the board, was available. We spent about 30 minutes getting set up and were finally ready to relax. The kids were so excited to go swimming in the lake and got their bathing suits on. Moments later, another camper drove up and said we were in his spot. We went up to management (who was now in the office) and they told us no spots were available and we couldn’t stay! We told them we followed their self-reg process and there was still nothing they could do.
So, we left.
Last night we got on their website and requested a reservation for 2 nights starting tonight. I gave my CC number through their online form, knowing that someone would get back to me to confirm my reservation. I called to leave a message requesting site 7 if it was open. Today I waited until 12p to give management a chance to get into the office and get my reservation and message. After not hearing back, I called and left another message. No response. I called again at 1pm. No response. It’s now 6pm and I haven’t heard. They have my CC information and I have no idea what they plan to do with it.
Totally disappointing experience.

You need to call or visit the website to make a reservation. We stayed in a 50 amp service and paid $45 plus tax so it is $10 higher for a 50 amp versus a 30 amp. Many spots have shade so may not be satellite friendly. Spots are nice size! Will stay again.

No one in the office, had to register through their website which processed my CC instantly
Initially picked a site with broken electrical so had to move
Received an e-mail receipt that did not include bathroom key codes or WiFi password - had to ask other campers for them
Major trucking highway noise prevented sleep until traffic died down about 2 am
Would not recommend this site

I had a 3 night stay here, because I had to get my truck serviced. Its basic - dirt/gravel sites, some are separated by trees, some aren't and you get to look into someone else's windows. It's NOISY - right off the Interstate, so lots of highway noise. It's cool that there's a lake right there, it's a water skiing lake. The WiFi is pretty good - I was able to have ZOOM calls. The bathhouse has had a superficial facelift, but peeling paint and strange shower connections. The staff was SUPER NICE and helpful. They invite you to text them and that was the best way to connect with them.
