With nearly 8 1/2 miles of trails along Kentucky Creek and the North Fork Smith River, these trails provide opportunities for hikers to photograph and enjoy beautiful waterfalls, as well as other natural beauty of this area. The trails are accessed by two trailheads. Much of the North Fork Smith Trail was constructed by volunteers, led by Lyle and Margaret Earl. Volunteers are invaluable to the continued maintenance of this and other forest trails. If you'd like to serve as a volunteer on this, or any other trail, contact the Mapleton Ranger District office. There are restrooms at the trailheads.
