Located right off exit 392 on I-90, the Old West RV Park is a convenient stop wherever your travels may take you. All of our spaces feature full 30/50 amp, water and sewer hookups along with Wifi, and Cable TV. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a laundry room, bathroom and showers. Right across the street there is a small convenience store with Gas and Diesel along with a post office next door to catch up with friends and family. Take a walk down the main street and see the original store fronts and homes from the early west. Just a few blocks down is the rustic Waterhole Saloon with good eats and friendly folks. (The burgers and pizza are excellent!) Come on in for a visit. We hope to see you down the road!

Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on May 12, 2024Friendly host, tight fit for 40’ Class A with tow but manageable (large rigs would benefit a phone call to clarify your approach and which drive to use to enter the park), noisy from interstate 90 traffic, passing railroad horns (multiple coal trains), but a clean and well maintained park with level stone/rock sites, small grass yards with picnic table, no fire pits. After about 11pm road noise subsided. Ideal for quick overnight stay if you’re not a light sleeper.
Small but great for a one stay.
Well maintained and clean. A great overnight stop.
Well kept park with friendly staff that has full hookups, right off the highway about 1 1/2 hrs outside of Billings. Needed a place to stay for the night with AC, bc the temps had been near 100 throughout the day. Was surprised to get a spot for this price, considering everything else we called was between $45-$80 for a night, some with no sewer. Sams Club or Military pricing is reflected.
AT&T 4 down 9 up - didn’t speed test Verizon, but voice & data was good

We are traveling cross country with a 42ft 5th Wheel. We estimated about when we wanted to stop for the day and I started looking for a place while my husband continued to drive. Most big rig capable places in the area seemed very expensive but I came across information regarding Old West RV Park and I’m so glad I did! I called to make our reservation about 1.5 hours prior to arrival. Suzi was very pleasant and made the reservation as well as the arrival process extremely easy. We had a full hookup site with exceptional water pressure so didn’t use the bathroom facilities but the grounds were very clean. I didn’t notice many shade trees but the sites are level white gravel and roomy with a nice patch of green manicured grass. We enjoyed a nice evening stroll through town. Reed Point is a quaint, quiet community riddled with historic buildings and access to a beautiful trout stream (attention fly fishermen 😊). Exiting the park in the morning was also an easy process. With Good Sam and Military discount we paid $36. We didn’t use it but a nice selection of cable channels was offered. Our Verizon cell phones had little to no service, however, the free WiFi was excellent. I should mention that there is a railroad track at the end of town and you can hear the train whistles but there wasn’t a lot of traffic we did not loose any sleep. We had a relaxing experience and would definitely stay again!

The campground was clean, well run, friendly and had full hook ups with good WiFi. I have them a four strictly due to something out of their control-train horns during the night. Highway traffic was not that noticeable probably because the highway is way above the campground.

This place was very clean and well taken care of. The camp host was very friendly. Getting into the park was a cinch, as it is literally right off Interstate 90. The road noise is not bad, and dies down in the evening. If traveling from the West and heading East, and you are a taller rig, do not get off at exit 392. Follow the directions on their website, as that exit has a lower clearance coming under the Interstate to get to the campground.
The sites are mostly pull-throughs, with some back-ins. The area of each site has grass, picnic table and fire ring. They are very clean, and manicured spots. There is an old country gas station across the street. The town of Reed Point does not have much to do or see, but this is a great place for a night's rest after traveling Interstate 90 all day. Full hookups make for a great re-fill and dump on your mid-way travels.
They do have showers and laundry, etc, but with Covid we were unable to access or use (not that we needed them), so we can not review those. Price is a little high, but since the local Harvest Host golf courses wanted us to pay for a round of golf to stay, we would rather use the money and take advantage of hookups at the RV park.

This park was a pleasant surprise after hours of driving to get away from fires and terrible air quality. The grounds are so clean and well maintained, we decided to stay an extra day. The staff was super helpful and friendly, and made it super easy for us to stay the extra day without having to move sites. There was some road and train noise, but we didn't notice it overnight. It was so pleasant and relaxing to sit outside and just decompress here.
The nearby little town is super cute and looks like an old west town. Some buildings are still being updated, but it was fun to walk through. The road through town and beyond made for a peaceful walk down to the river to stretch our legs after so much driving too. We loved this place and would totally stay again!

Great little spot to break up a drive. We arrived late at night in between October snowstorms, but I called ahead to ask about the easiest access spot for a big rig. The very friendly host set us up in number 3.
Access:
This place is seriously right off 90, although if you're coming eastbound, the underpass has a height restriction, just under 14ft. No problem for us in our 12ft 10in fifth wheel. Take a look at it on Google Maps before you arrive for the best way to pull in. You sort of go past it and turn onto Central, and then right into your spot. Couldn't be easier!
We didn't hang out much beyond sleeping and in the morning, dumping and filling our water tank. Host had thoughtfully placed a cone over the sewer connection so that it was easily accessible, even in a few inches of snow. They've got heat tape on the freshwater connections, so that was no problem either.
IIRC, we had good service with AT&T and Verizon, and none on Sprint.
