Whether you are traveling in your RV, enjoying the comforts of one of our cozy cabins or staying in a grass-padded tent site, our central Oregon KOA campground is your vacation spot. Enjoy our outdoor saltwater swimming pool, playground, peddle bikes, rock garden and dog park. We offer an abundance of outdoor activities, such as volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, tether ball, badminton and numerous yard games. Take a day to enjoy some of our local attractions. Head Fifteen minutes south to Smith Rock for some amazing hiking or drive west and spend the day at Lake Billy Chinook. A couple of hours east, you can experience Oregon's renowned painted hills or forty minutes north, you could spend the day world-class fly fishing or on a guided Whitewater rafting trip down the Deschutes River. There truly is something for everyone in central Oregon. Conveniently located in Culver, OR, east of Hwy 97, in the middle of the high desert, surrounded by pristine farmland on 37 acres, Central Oregon KOA offers 56 spacious RV sites (majority pull through). Each site has water and power (30 and 50 amps available, many with sewer). We have seven cabins, which range from a deluxe cabin with all the comforts of home to cozy one-room cabins that have a small fridge and coffee service. Our 18 tent sites are located on well-maintained grass areas and range from single sites to group sites, some of which offer water access. Regardless of whether you are in a cabin, RV, or tent site, each has its own fire pit and picnic table. In addition to your personal vacation spot, we have a cozy country store and an outside gathering area complete with picnic tables and laundry facilities. So grab the family and friends and come swim, play, sight-see, do a little shopping in our country store, or just relax with the friendly staff at one of Central Oregon's favorite gathering places. While you are here, plan to join us for Friday and Saturday evening ice cream socials and our delicious Saturday and Sunday all-you-can-eat breakfasts. We look forward to welcoming you.

Check in was quick and easy - we had reservations. It's a great place to spend a night or two on your trip. The sites are kind of close together and you don't have any privacy. Madras is close. Bend/Redmond/Prineville easy driving. Family friendly - swimming pool and playground. Lots of outdoor activities close. They had an ice cream social and all you can eat breakfast during our stay. We've stayed in in the past and will continue to use it as a stop on longer trips.

We stayed at the Redmond-Central Oregon KOA for 3 nights. The staff is friendly. The spots are very close together so you will get to know your next door neighbors! We normally need 50 Amp service and the best they had was 30 Amps - but everything worked well.
There were some maintenance issues in general at the camp - several of the water sources on other camping spots leaked quite a bit. Our neighbors needed some assistance getting the campground water turned on and off and the staff was very accommodating helping them out.
Firewood was plentiful and easily available if used in the fire pits - most of the camping spots burned fires at night.

This KOA was great. Our kids enjoyed the pool and playground. The laundry facilities were nice and clean. The sites were well layed out. We had a pull through site with full hook ups. The power did go out on us but the staff fixed it quickly. This was a great place to staff while we were exploring the Bend area. The staff was not so nice and really seemed to dislike there job. First KOA were staff was not super friendly and welcoming. Otherwise it was a good experience.

This KOA calls itself Redmond/Central Oregon. It is actually located in Culver, Oregon, which is 20 miles north of Redmond. And if you wanted to travel down to popular Bend for the day, it is an additional 20 miles further. There are several full-time residents living in this campground, which is tacky looking. All of the sites are 60-foot pull-throughs, which was nice.

There’s lots for kids to do with a pool, playground, loaner bikes, ice cream social, pancakes, parade and probably other stuff. The sites are close together and with all the kids tearing around and screaming all day, it’s really not peaceful. There are no trails near the campground so there’s nowhere to even walk to. Like most of Eastern Oregon, not much social distancing except for the staff.
Wifi was good and fast, good cell service, full hook-ups and pull-through sites (not completely level but we made it work). Power was out when we got there but came back by the time we got parked and leveled.

Good KOA with friendly staff and plenty of amenities. Great for kids. They do have significant power problems so be ready to camp at 15 amps until they can get it fixed. It’s not the owners problem as they’ve trying to get permits to upgrade the electrical.
