Great stop to pray, get some snacks and coffee, meet with some people who love God.

Weird. Not one mention of all the certified craziness that goes on here. The time one of their congregation lost a baby and the church banded together and almost revived the dead child until finally giving up after a week. Out of all the craziness that comes from an area that foolishly wants to succeed from the US calling themselves the State of Jefferson, this fun event made international news. To the mentally handicapped children with their mouths wide open trying to catch what they think of is gold flakes sent from god because I dunno god likes to have fun with idiots too. The gold is just dust that is highlighted by the spotlights. Most normal people have seen this effect countless times. Not so for these rocket sciences. Do your research first if you need your fix of invisible people and thinking of going here. Ask anyone local and you will hear mostly true stories of the wackiness and sometimes borderline illegal, dangerous activities. From the membership flooding City Hall with elected officials shaping the political landscape of the poor uneducated citizens of the area. You can’t miss them around town. They stick out like a Mormon. They used to hang out at the Sundial Bridge before they were forced to move on because of their swarming of tourists with their annoying church spiel of part goofy god talk and part craziness. Remember these people spent a week trying to bring a dead baby back to life as international news organizations laughed and put the city of Redding in a bad light. From a city that doesn’t need help in that department. Approach either of them with caution.
