Sacramento River RV Park

This was by far our worst night of the trip. It’s definitely geared towards a fully-contained RV stay and not a smaller trailer. It’s immediately beside the I-5, but at least the highway noise was somewhat soothing. There were bright lights shining in our trailer all night, and then at 5:30am the garbage truck came to empty the dumpsters. They advertise a pool but it was closed despite the 80 degree weather (and I recognize our stay was in late March). There was dog poop and cigarette butts on our grassy patch, which had to be kept clear for the sprinklers that go off every night. The bathrooms and laundry room were very clean, however we would not recommend this location.

Staff are very friendly. Area we were at was close to entrance and near freeway. Got used to highway noise but logging trucks on site starting up around 3am was very annoying. Hard to find any access to river. I don't know why they advertise wi-fi could not get on most of time and when you get on it knocks you off within minutes.

We had been coming off the Oregon cost and just needed a place to spend the night. Also needed FHU as it was hot, and we wanted to use our air conditioner. It's very close to the freeway and noisy, as others have stated. Even to hot to try out the disc golf course. Did enjoy a dip in the pool, but the place could use an update.
