Buffalo County Recreation Area - Ravenna Lake

First, almost got our rig stuck. it rained the night before and lots of sites were very muddy.

Second, seems to be a little bit of a local party spot. It was well patrolled and after dark was quiet. But during the evening it was not quiet (no one was obnoxious).

There are no facilities. There is a porta potty at the boat launch but this is really meant for RVs that have their own toilets.

Cozy little lake. No swimming though. Easy access. Frisby golf, fishing, firewood from the Boy Scouts. Dollar General less than a mile away in case you forgot something.

A great find! Quiet and serene. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

The sites are pretty nice with water and electric. You do share a 30/50 amp electric pedestal with your neighbor so one person will need an adapter if you’re both 30 amp or 50 amp. You also share water with your neighbor but there was a wye adapter already on the spigot when I arrived.

The campground is right next to a fairly busy train line so you get the rumble of the trains but no train horns luckily.
