We are within a stones throw of downtown with many of the towns restaurants and amenties in walking distance. Raton is a small rural community nestled in the beautiful mountains of northern New Mexico close to the Colorado border. 20 Remodelled Rooms, ranging from Queens, Doubles, 2 Bedroom Suites and 3 Bed Suites. Convenient Computer / Internet access available in the office. Fax and Copy services door. NRA, Govt. & Commercial Rates, Garage Parking with some rooms. Courtesy transportation to & from Stations upon request.

I'll be back to stay again. Charming and clean room. The owners are very sweet and helpful. Fridge and microwave oven in every room. Full size coffee pot. And the price was under $50 tax included.

Booked a room based on the description on Roadtrippers. When we checked in, we found we had a small, bug-infested room. The toilet had bugs in it, and the floor was covered in them. After refusing to stay the night, we tried to get a refund but were told that only the manager could do that. We called the next day and got the run-around again. As of today, still no refund from these owners. I would recommend that travelers either bypass this town, or do as we did and find another (cleaner) hotel. There are others close by.
