A popular campground on Walupt Lake and surrounded by the Goat Rocks Wilderness, this campground provides outstanding views of the forest. The campground offers various sizes of camping units as well as 7 walk-in sites. Access is generally by rough gravel road (about 20 miles). Directions from Packwood: Travel south on U.S. Highway 12 to Primary Forest Route 21. Follow 21 south, past the Johnson Creek Sno-Park, to Forest Route 2160. Follow 2160 east to the campground.
