Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on November 22, 2022Far enough outside of the Phoenix metro area that you really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.
There are two roads in & out of Queen Valley. Bring your RV down Queen Valley Road itself, but take your tow/toad/atv for a drive down El Camino Viejo if you get the chance. It's gravel and wasn't a problem (dry) for our AWD Honda CR-V.
The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating for our late check in. The lack of any (AT&T) cell coverage is kind of a downer, but my phone's GPS got us here with no problem and there is wifi in the office / common area.
According to a few of the other campers, there is Verizon service at the park (and possibly all of Queen Valley), but we were unable to confirm.

Mixed use - mostly park models with a few spaces for RVs. The resort itself is lovely, well cared for and the setting is also very nice. Not a place for peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for, privacy is non existent. Lots of side by sides and loud gatherings every night. If I ran the park I would not allow side by sides in the park itself they are so loud - and I have never heard such loud golf carts. The surrounding town of Queen Valley is a mix of some high end houses but some really run down manu homes. There is a golf course with great food and staff (the building is rough but don't let that scare you) they have music occasionally, there is another restaurant that is only open on weekends and a run down C-store. Real shopping is basically an hour round trip.
