Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on November 09, 2023We pulled in for one night, but we would have stayed here longer! It is beautiful and flat with incredible views. We pulled in and were completely level. We watched the sunset and sunrise from all angles of our spot and it was glorious. There are lots of free places to stay in this area, but this was WONDERFUL! Couldn’t find one piece of trash in this area, so clean and wonderful. Did not see trash receptacle, so we took our trash with us to throw away elsewhere. We also dumped the holding tanks just down the road. We would totally stay here again.

Lovely BLM site that was clean and quiet with beautiful views. It is a huge site with plenty of space. You can be as close or far from others as you would like. Though we did stay in December before the crowds get to the area. Host was friendly and helpful. Take a walk around to see some quartz rock creations. This is obviously a well-loved place.
BLM, so no services.

Don’t make the mistake of going innthe 4 long term BLM prior to this one.....,This 14 day area is also referred to as Mile 99 which locates you near the entrance. The acreage available is vast, wide, flat, vegetated between late areas available, and views are 360’. There was not one scrap of trash anywhere.
Being a bit after the crowed season there was hardly anyone there.
A windy day kicked up some dust but most of the area is a nice rock base.
We dumped, got water, and did kaundry in town.

We stayed here in mid November and enjoyed the cool nights and a nearly empty campground area. We could only see 2-3 others campers arouns us, the closest was 2-300 yards away

Visited the boondocking Mecca of Quartzsite, Arizona this week and camped at the Road Runner Bureau of Land Management (BLM) area. This is unquestionably big rig friendly territory with an abundance of wide open space on hard packed level gravel. Road Runner BLM sits in a valley surrounded by mountains. The campsite we selected is located at the following grid coordinates: 33.588724, -114.227515. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 4.74 Mbps download speed and 12.1 Mbps upload speed. Verizon clocked in at 3.43 Mbps download speed and 0.38 Mbps upload speed. This 14-day free camping area is dry camping only. Quartzsite has a wide array of support services for the RV community. We thoroughly enjoyed our mid December visit and did not experience any crowds in or out of town.

We hesitantly pulled in after dark, confident from the prior reviews, and found a flat spot for the night. Next morning we were rewarded with a great sunrise and found that we had chosen a decent site. As stated by others, vast area of flat hard packed dirt/gravel, with plenty of space for a lot of rigs. We'll be back in late January, it will undoubtedly be more crowded.

Tons of spots on hard packed gravel. Service got worst the farther from the highway and dust was worst also, so we stayed near the highway.

This Lil Gem in the desert is a perfect camping get away or stop through. There are a couple of areas that they do charge per every 14 days. We stayed on the free area and had an amazing weekend. Super quite. Cell service was even ok also. We have Sprint. We have heard from others that Version is the best out there. Also September-May there are lots of Campers and lots to see at the near by City. Quartzsite Az

We picked this area because it was really close to the road and we were pulling in really late at night. The site was perfect! It was level, requiring no adjustments on our end. There was no one around (probably due to it being the wrong season for camping here), and very quiet. Only negative part were the bugs were running rampant, which it’s nature so we understand it, but still not fun. Would stay here again nonetheless!
