We stayed here for the two weeks prior to the RV show in January. It was very quiet here and seemed much less crowded than the La Posa LTVA's closer to town. La Posa South is right across the road and that is where the RV Dumps and water are so it is naturally more crowded. We can usually make it two weeks on our tanks so all we need to do is take our water containers across the road and fill them now and then. There are a couple of Port A Potties over here as well as on the other side in La Posa South. We had no close neighbors and was able to run our generator when needed without bothering anyone.

Actually our first time visiting! We were in as things are winding down so not many people left here. We had a nice stay. Checked out the facilities across the road. Nice that BLM supplies dump, water and garbage for such a fair price. The nightly rate I listed is $40 for one thru 14 days so Be sure to plan to stay at least long enough to make it worth it. $180 for 6 months. Thanks BLM!

We came during the government shut down so no charge. We were hoping to stay until the big RV show but the cell service was so slow because of all of the campers. Definitely couldn't do any streaming and the local satellite vendor totally raked us over-see blog so we had no tv-no channels OTA at all. The swap meet area was a bunch of rocks and a bunch of crap and we don't have an ATV so it was pretty boring. Some nice sunsets and the one positive was Discount Solar. We got our batteries replaced at a great deal!

We got our first real taste of boondocking in Quartzsite. Lots of space and choices for us to pick a spot. Plus friendly people around, even though our neighbors were not that close. Nearby offroading trails were not too hard to drive on, but the views were awesome. Pleasant evenings with a starry show to dazzle you in the evenings and quiet too. The wifi was limited in the evenings where we just watched dvds. Since we are new in the fulltime camping world, boondocking here helped us to learn how to do it. We lived in Arizona for many years and this place was easy access from Phoenix. The nearby dump/water/trash facilities were a bonus. The total charge for the permit is $190 which includes tax. We might be back again next year. Just make sure you arrive after September and leave around March as the heat comes back. I do recommend this place if you do not want to move around every 14 days, or want to visit the ocean in California and enjoy the tent rally in January!

We did some scouting through multiple areas of the LTVA's and decided to stay here. It seems way less crowded better tree coverage and closer to a mountain range for views.
It's super clean here and they just installed at least 8 new dump station drive throughs and potable water and will be opened within a month we heard but for now you can go right across the street to South for everything.
They have some random 40yd dumpsters placed around the area for convenience instead of having to drive to front.
Plenty of vault toilets throughout the area if you should need one. Well maintained roads but extremely dusty.
Most important to us was the cell coverage for work and this place hit the mark with T-Mobile with consistent 5G and even the data was super super fast as to where we didn't even have to set up our Starlink and are saving the $150 a month 😁
This is our first time at Quartzite and it's pretty Dope for sure. Everyone is super nice and friendly so far....
Lake Havasu is a must visit about an HR away and will be our regular weekly adventure spot for sure but the T-Mobile service out there while boondocking is trash.
I mean for $180 cash with all the services, except electricity for six months is pretty much a no brainier. We have tons of solar on our rig so no big deal but you can run a generator if you choose to although we didn't really hear many at all.
Enjoy!
