Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on February 19, 2022Chose this campground because the manager had no problem offering a 2-night stay during peak season (January), unlike another park that would only do weekly or monthly. Friendly staff helped with a tight back-in spot, but there are noisier pull-throughs that are closer to the front of the park (by Rt 95). Very close to all the "action" (such as it is) in Quartzsite during the peak snowbird and "show" season.

We camped here as a way of having a leisurely time of dumping our tanks while we were boondocking and having a relaxed pizza dinner at Silly Al's (which is within walking distance).
The staff is accommodating, able to fit us in with no warning the week after the massive RV convergence ended. We stayed in a back-in spot a bit away from the road, so it was quiet enough inside our rig.

Fabulous spot! Level gravel sites, immaculate bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms within walking (.5 Miles) of all the Quartzite action. Very reasonable prices, I even asked twice if the price Shelly quoted was peak season full hookups!! Yup, it was, no joke. Family owned and operated by Rick and Brenda with stellar team members. Friendly for all ages and all critters. Free guided “deserting” Jeep trips by Rick and Brenda that include history, landmarks and rock hounding info and hands on. We absolutely had a BLAST here!!! Tell your friends.

We chose Shady Lane based on Campendium reviews and were not disappointed. We had a great experience right from the moment we pulled in and a friendly staffer got us registered and showed us to our site. This park is not a fancy "resort" with all sorts of amenities, but it's exceptionally clean, well maintained and most importantly, friendly and welcoming to its guests. We enjoyed talking to the folks in the office about what to see and do in the area. It's obvious that they know the area well and take pride in their RV park. One night we joined fellow RVers at the evening campfire circle which was fun.
We intended to stay just two nights, but added a third because the rate was so reasonable and we were having such a good time. We then went off boondocking for a couple of nights. On our way back through Quartzsite we were going to stop at the RV Pit Stop to top off our fresh water and dump our holding tanks. We discovered that it would cost us more to do that than to just go back to Shady Lane for another night, so we did!
Only negative I can think of is that at times the WiFi got very slow, but I've come to expect that at most RV parks and try to schedule my internet use for off peak times of the day.

Updating my previous review to change to 5 stars... Previously posted 4 stars only due to low water pressure... Staff came to our site and helped to remedy the low water pressure issue... Awesome service.... 🤠👍

We wanted to check out the Quartzsite hype without having to boondock. This was a great and very reasonable option. The owner was nice and they even hand delivered a package we had shipped there to our door. Laundry and bathrooms were clean. I believe the laundry was around $1.50 for the wash and $1.00 to dry, both worked well. The park was a short walk to the post office and roadrunner grocery store. I was also surprised at how much good produce the grocery store had for such a small town. Overall, this was a great stay with full hookups close to the Gem Show and not too far from hiking at Kofa Wildlife Refuge. Verizon worked great for video conferencing and streaming.

Great location to get around to the flea markets/swap meets being just a 10 minute walk.
Owners took us to the site and saw that we were parked and able to hook up easily.
Washers $2 & dryers $1.25 are clean and several of each so no problem catching up on laundry while here.
Sites are pea gravel (much cleaner than the stone dust in many parks) and some have pads and picnic tables - ours had neither....but we didn't ask for one as we were not staying long.
Park was about 60% full and had no problem reserving the day before we arrived- though I understand there are lots of events earlier in the year that cause the area to fill up. We had several empty sites around us so it didn't feel crowded.
About 25% seasonal/monthly and the rest appeared transient.
You are about 3 blocks from I-10 so some road noise but not enough to keep you awake or bother your sleep.
Internet was very slow, but we arrived on a rainy day so everyone was probably sitting inside surfing while waiting. Improved somewhat the next day.
For the price and location it was well worth spending a couple of nights to check out the town and get caught up on a few chores.

We stayed one night as we were passing through the area. Easy, friendly reservations and check in. Great value for the money, especially considering the cost of filling/dumping options down the road. Easy in and out, close to everything in town. WIFI was fast, bathrooms super clean. They recycle! Rec Center clean, overall the place looks very well maintained. Nice hard packed gravel and level site. We had a site near the road, but not much traffic at night. We would stay here again.
