“scenic spring fed waterfall”
The spring-fed Capote Falls, with a drop of 175 feet (53 m), the highest in Texas, is located in western Presidio County. [Please don't head out to Ruidosa with thoughts of a quick trip to Capote Falls. This is privately owned land and shortly after leaving FM 170 a locked gate limits further access.]
Ive been reading up about the falls and would like to write a feature length article on the Brite property history. Thought about scouting the dead end of FM170 on my next trip down to The Bend, May I ask you more about your experience? Email at abtarep@gmail.com
