The Ross Island Bridge is a cantilever truss bridge that spans the Willamette River. The bridge was designed by Gustav Lindenthal and opened in 1926. It is named Ross Island Bridge because it is right by Ross Island.

While not the prettiest bridge in Portland, it's the best bridge to use if you're in lower SE or SW. Since the bridge is pretty high up, you get a great wide view of the city which is especially beautiful at night.
