“right in the middle of everything”
This KOA is right in the middle of everything you want to do in Florida and it offers the closest camping to the beach in Daytona. It's just 10 minutes from Daytona Speedway and Daytona Beach, known as the "World's Most Famous Beach." Orlando, Walt Disney World (with Disney's Hollywood Studios) and Universal Studios are a little more than an hour's drive away, as is Kennedy Space Center. Let this KOA be your base camp for Speed Week in February, Bike Week and the Daytona Spring Turkey Run in March, the July NASCAR race, Biketoberfest in October and Turkey Run in November. You'll also find world class sport fishing. And it's only 10 minutes to the world's largest flea market. The campground offers 350 sites, as well as a large recreation hall for group events, pool, bathhouse, store, playground and RV storage. Restaurants are within walking distance. Pool: Open all year. Max pull thru: 80 ft. Your hosts: the O'Dwyer family.
Great location. Tight together RV spots, but with a concrete pad, all back in locations. Stayed 3 nights in November in a 26' fifth wheel. WiFi very slow, to nil during evenings etc. Ok park, decently quiet, lots of staff presence. (Security) Close to beach, 70 mins from Orlando. Good spot for base camp.
