Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on February 04, 2021Stayed 2 weeks in Feb and enjoyed it. The grounds were well kept, the laundry and shower facilities were clean and the people (office and “residents”) were friendly and helpful. It’s quiet. Lots of returning people; most are winter Texans. Events, sponsored and resident-initiated, were plentiful. Only drawback is how closely pads are spaced. I guess it helps cut the wind, unless you’re on the end. A nice three or four block walk to the beach. We will stay here, again.

We enjoyed our stay and the people in this park. Have many people from up north that stay for months. Spacing is tight. The cement pad is 9.75 feet wide and not long enough for a 33 foot trailer and truck.
Your neighbors are really close that some awnings will be right on their rig.
4 stars for the size of the pad, but we really like this park!!

I’ve stayed here multiple times, between 3 and 7 nights - price changes seasonally.
This is a great place to stay a few nights in season, or longer during the Fall and Winter. Lots of “Winter Texans”! Other guests have always been friendly and helpful!
The staff is welcoming, professional- and generally management keeps everything running smoothly (read: they don’t take any gruff).
You can coordinate a rotation of staying on the beach, I B Magee park and Surfside to stretch out your stay in Port A.

Nice park but very tight spacing and motorhomes must enter by driving over a sidewalk off the main street and driving along a grass area behind spots. Lawn care got grass clippings all over clean motorhome, was told to clean it off but they have a $10 cleaning fee so if I didn't complain they may have asked for $10 for cleaning off the mess they made! Manager said they were very strict about dogs off leashes while her dog was literally wondering around off the leash as she was telling me this! Nice hot tub but it's only warm 4 nights a week. Close to beach access road and easy access to town. Internet was sketchy at best and during peak hours didn't function at all! Thank God for Starlink we got 150mbs here!
