Couple of minutes outside Hurricane Ridge entrance to Olympic National Park, in Port Angeles. Wide turn in for rigs and has dump for $5 and propane fill up. Convenient!
The dump is situated on the edge of the gas station but the water hose is attached to the side of the gas station building. A sign states a hose nozzle is available but it was broken when someone drove over it and not replaced. You have to drag the water hose across the gas station floor and have a second person to shout at on and off. It’s not very practical but does the job. $5 dump fee.
You have to back into the spot to dump. You go inside and pay $5, then they give you the spray nozzle for rinsing and you have to pull the hose from the side of the building to where the dump station is. Not a lot of options in the area, so this worked, but it was kind of a pain.
The couple who run the place are absolutely lovely, but the dump is not. You have to back into a very small space, and larger rigs would have trouble reaching the dump. The lid is broken. They then make you drag a heavy hose across the gas station parking lot to spray the area when you’re finished dumping, then you have to drag the hose back and recoil it. Honestly the water hose routine took the longest of the entire process, and I didn’t get at all dirty from dumping my tanks but I got pretty muddy from dragging a dirty, wet hose around. It’s not a great setup by any means, and for what they ask of you it should not be $10 to dump.
It’s $15 now for dump fee wash out hose is available with the key
Its a fast and easy place to dump grey&black water and to fill up your potable water and its just 15$ so its pretty okay for a gas station.
