This site is a nice hideaway, with nearby Sol Duc Hot Springs a highlight. The problem is that this camp is very popular. It fills up quickly on weekends, and a fee is charged to use the hot springs, which have been fully developed since the early 1900s. The camp is set at 1,680 feet along the Sol Duc River.
This campground has 82 campsites and allows RV’s The fees for 2001 are $12.00 / night. All campsites are on a first come / first served basis. There are no hookups, showers, or laundry facilities at National Park Campgrounds. Most spaces 21’ back-in. 14 day max. stay.
