The Ponder Bank was one of the many banks Bonnie and Clyde robbed during their criminal road trip across the country. The legend goes, that the duo attempted to rob the bank, not realizing that it had gone bankrupted the week before, leaving them with nothing to take. Rumor has it that the bank is currently for sale and includes the original bank vaults.

The bank still has the teller cage and safe. It’s a step back in time. The bank was also robbed again in the filming of the movie “Bonnie & Clyde.

The Bank is now incorporated into the new Ponder City Hall. Yes the original vault is still there. During business hours - I believe you can go have a look but I would call the City of Ponder first to confirm.
