Our family owned resort is located in S.E. Washington in the beautiful Tucannon Valley at the foothills of the Blue Mountains. Minutes away is the Wooten Wildlife area, the Tucannon lakes, Tucannon River and the Umatilla Nat. Forest. Thousands of acres are available for hiking, wild life viewing, fishing and hunting. Nearby are the historic towns of Dayton and Pomeroy with unique shops and dining options. World renowned wineries of Walla Walla, WA are 1 hour to the West and Hells Canyon and the Snake River are 1 hour to the East. The RV Park has both full hook up and water and electric pull through sites with 20, 30 and 50 amp service. Sites include a gravel pad, lawn area, fire ring and picnic table with native trees and shrubs. Tent camping is separate from RV sites and is located along Tum-a-lum Creek which flows through the property. Cabins with full kitchens, bathrooms, A/C and satellite TV let you rough it in comfort. Resort amenities include a camp store with groceries, all fuels, fishing supplies and liscences, gifts and snacks. Also available are showers, laundry, meeting hall, playground, picnic shelter and free Wi-Fi zone. Well behaved, leashed pets are always welcome!

This is a former KOA turned into a private non franchise campground. It located along the road to the Wooten Wildlife Area and the Umatilla National Forest. So this is the only thing going for camping with hookups in this area; many other dry camping sites are available down the road on state and federal land. Most people appear to stay here for hunting and fishing in the surrounding area. We have also utilized the nearby shooting range on the state wildlife area for recreational target practice on many occasions. The campground itself is nice, with full hookups available in the pull through sites in the middle of the campground, with partial hookups (no sewer) on the pull through sites on the outside loop. The sites are a little tight and lack privacy unless you opt for the ones on the outside of the loop. Those on the outside loop by the road will get lots of road noise from trucks speeding by well into the night. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the store is well stocked. Gasoline and propane are available as well. This is a great spot for exploring the northern Blue Mountains and Tucannon River drainage.
