“authentic chowder”
Tracy is a fourth generation Point Arena resident. Her ancestry dates back to the 1800s - one of her grandmothers was a bookkeeper for the shipping company at the Arena Cove Wharf in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Her other grandmother was born in Arena Cove in a little house that still stands at the north east edge of the cove. John's family moved to Point Arena when he was in the eighth grade when his father was stationed here in the Air Force. His first home in Point Arena was at Arena Cove. Their romance began at Point Arena High School where they met. After finishing trade school in Colorado John returned to the area to marry Tracy in 1975. They are blessed with two daughters - Heather and Lindsey - and six grandchildren. Their daughter Lindsey joins them at the restaurant as the bookkeeper and special event planner.
