“The namesake of our humble town”
An absolute must-see for the garden enthusiast when visiting Pocatello, is a rose lover's paradise. This lovely Rotary International sponsored garden near the visitor center features over 1,100 beautiful domestic rose bushes in various colors. The other end of the garden features a 16 ft. statue honoring Chief Pocatello, the city's namesake. The statue is carved from Idaho Travertine stone.
Must see if a history buff and great history summaries for kids. Fort is also just a few minutes away.
An interesting monument with a few pieces of relevant information. The visitor centre has clean bathrooms
Nice place to stop. Plenty of parking. Visitors center was closed when we stopped by.
The map pin is a little off, you will probably see it as you pass it and have to turn around.
