“rest under the Washington moonlight”
Agate Acres RV Park is a privately owned and operated facility located approximately 21 miles south of Kennewick, WA, near the intersection of Interstate 82/US Highway 395 and Washington State Route 14. All sites at Agate Acres are full hook-up complete with water, electricity and sewer. The overall park is best described as "utilitarian." There are a few Poplar trees along the edges of the campground - there is no grass and the closest thing to landscaping are the sage brush and tumbleweeds growing around the RV park. The entire park at Agate Acres is covered in crushed rock. Agate Acres has recently completed a community center that offers restrooms, showers, an exercise room and a entertainment room. Restaurants and shopping are available in the Tri-Cities (25 miles North), in Umatilla, OR, (4 miles South) and in Hermiston, OR, (12 miles Southeast). Note that high winds and dust are an occasional problem in the area, sometimes necessitating parking jacks under RVs to hold them steady. Open year round.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 28, 2022I attempted to make reservations in the area but everything was full so I tried this little known rv park and was able to get a spot. Nola checked me, she is so sweet.
The rv park has a pretty cool view overlooking Umatilla and the Columbia River and is easily accessible. There is no WiFi or cable but I got 32 OTA channels. The sites are good size, level and all gravel. Plenty of area for dogs to run to the north and south of the park. It does looks like a lot of rvs here are long term and the monthly rates are the lowest I've ever seen. The nightly rates can't be beat for what you get. There is little road noise but not bad.
The best part part of my stay was finding their mellon patch while walking my dog. I called and asked if it was on to grab a cantelope and OMG, so delicious. I also grabbed a fresh tomatoes, shh, don't tell Nola lol.
I'd stay again

We stayed here for one night. Nola checked us in and she was so sweet and answered any questions we had. There is plenty of space in each spot. You could easily fit a tow behind and the tow vehicle next to it. We hardly saw anyone when we were there. Lots of long term rigs. The bathrooms are open 6am-9pm. Bring your own tp and the showers are pay for use. Didn’t go in the laundry facilities so can’t say but the bathrooms were clean. The only reason we gave 4 starts was because there was the smell of cow or horse manure that kept blowing through on the breezy day but it was tolerable. Would stay here again. Cell reception was fine for me but my partner had issues. We’re both with AT&T. Worked remote all day with no issues. No wifi at the site but we have our own in our van.

I called at 8:00 am and they answered the phone. I asked if there was a site available for one night and there was. I had a dentist appointment in Kennewick so I asked how early I could arrive and hook up and they said whenever but they might be running errands.
I arrived at 11 am (ish) and while I was unhooking, the owner came up, welcomed me to the park and thanked me for choosing them!
I gave 4 stars for the facilities but that personal touch bumped the rating to 5.
All sites are pull through but I think most are long term.
I only hooked up to power. Post was good.
T-Mobile Cell signal was 2 bars of 5G on my phone, and 3 bars on my router.
I did not use laundry, WiFi or water. If they do have WiFi, I didn’t see it in settings. May be private.

Not bad for an overnight stocker
$25 a night not bad for an overnight stop
Clean and friendly, but it kind of felt like I was boondocking in a parking lot. Still, worth the $25 fee.
