4 sites, concrete and level with electric hookups and picnic tables at each site. There are 2 water spouts, one between the first two spots the other between the last 2 spots. There is a restroom right next to the fourth spot. A maintenance person comes by during weekdays so it’s nice and clean. The site is in the town’s park, directly across the street from the high school and a neighborhood but it’s very quiet. No time limit on how long you can stay.

We came across this town be accident and I’m glad we did. 4 RV spots with free water and electricity. 30 and 50 amp hookups. Pool next door is $3 a day. Free WiFi from pool as well.
Also check out the clown museum across the street. Great spot!

Was looking forward to stopping here after reading the last review and it was right on my route home to KY.
As we drove into town there is a huge sign welcoming RV's for a few free nights....pulled in about an hour before sunset, and found all the sites taken-- normally that would be ok... nothing ventured, nothing gained. EXCEPT-- the first slot had a travel trailer that looked like it had moved in, complete with yard deco and a large for sale sign... second slot -- Class A (valid).... third slot was the same fifth wheel that is in the picture from June, obviously it has not been moved.. the fourth slot had a car parked there with Nebraska plates on it and the sign clearly visible at the end of this states "Camper parking only!".... yes, we had had a long day and it was late, not to mention that we hadn't eaten yet --- had hoped to find something in town ... will not go back to this town... BTW---- remember to alway write reviews, they are read and appreciated!!
thank you

We stumbled upon this little place (4 spots only) and it was awesome. Located at the edge of a beautiful park in a cute little Americana town. Public pool & really nice play structures. Sites are clean and level. And 30/50amp power. FREEEEE! Right on Route 20, so super easy access. Would highly recommend!

We had electricity (30a) and water. 50a is also available as is 110 however the 110 outlet wasn’t working on our post. We spent some money in the town at Subway (which also has Goodrich ice cream/shakes), Casey’s General Store (fuel and stuff), and I got a great $15 + tip haircut at Hwy 20 Salon. The park is awesome with tennis courts, a pavilion, and a great playground for kids right beside the swimming pool which was down for the winter when we arrived. We talked to someone who used to manage the maintenance in the park and he said they had to take down the donation box as kids kept stealing the $. We have learned that most small towns in NE have some form of free to affordable RV camping with electricity.

Had a great stay at Chilvers park. Also had an awesome storm display of lightning and thunder with rain. The park is beautiful walking distance to Mary’s restaurant. There is also keystone bar. The bathroom needs clean up. But otherwise lovely. Free electricity and water. No dump site at park.

We stopped here on the way to the Black Hills. There are four sites, all free including 30 and 50 Amp electric and water. No sewer or dump service here. We were the only ones camping. We have a 28' trailer and 3/4 ton truck and we just fit into the spot without unhooking. It is pretty level.
This park is across the street from the High School and there was an event going on, so it was a pretty busy area. We are one block North of the main street going through town and it is a bit noisy. After 9:00 pm things started to quiet down quite a bit.
The park is very well maintained and clean. The rest rooms have toilet and sink with cold water only and could use some updates but were clean.
We walked 5 blocks to Mary's restaurant and had dinner. It was OK with good service but nothing to write home about. As is typical of these small towns, everyone is friendly and helpful.
Painview appears to be a very well managed town, is clean, not run down, etc.
Verizon had full bars + LTE tested at 16Mbps down and 10 up without booster on my phone inside the trailer.
We would definitely stay here again.

Nice little town. There are flush toilets available and 20/30/50 amp service. No water or dump site. There is a small grocery store you can walk to in 5 minutes.
I had 5 bars of Verizon here, you can see the cell tower from the park. I had good speeds during the day (10-20 up and down) but at night it dropped to much lower. Nexflix on my phone still worked fine though.

We were heading through the area and found this spot. Got in late, left early, it was as good as I could have asked for, easy to get into, really quiet. Site was level, concrete pads, bathroom close, there was an electric box but we didn't try it.
Seemed like a nice town, got to see the gas station on the way out. Would gladly stay here again.
