We stayed here to attend the downtown Hillbilly Days celebration. This is a small park but immaculately maintained. It is on a street with lots of other city parks and rec facilities including: a dog park, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, sports fields, horseback riding stable, hiking/biking trails, and beautiful overlooks, all within walking distance.
There is a paved walking track inside the rv park around the adjoining soccer field.
It is very close to downtown and all the local shopping restaurants etc.
Sites are close together but are concrete, and perfectly level. Each site has its own picnic table, grill and trash receptacle.
Our Verizon phones had no service. Internet at the campground was not fast but was consistent. 2-3 mbps was fast enough to stream youtubetv.
As others have said this is a great rv park. Easy access from the highway and close to town. Even though the highway is close there is no road noise as you are above the highway. We were forced to extend our stay because of axle/tire issues and had no problem retaining our site even though there was a concert at the venue downtown, and the park filled up that afternoon. Nice walking trail around the sports field next to the park. Every site has its own garbage can that the city employees service daily. Didn’t use the bath/shower rooms so can’t comment on that, but I’m sure they are nice and clean just like the rest of the park.
