Mill Creek Resort has full hook up camp pads, small bungalow trailers and cabins. Our family of four (2 adults, children age 10 & 8) rented a cabin. It was a single room with full bath and little kitchen.
The pool was great and well maintained. The bathhouse was clean, tiled, very nice. The grounds were well maintained. Two play grounds, one was nicely shaded - both well kept and maintained. Location was great to access Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey's.
This was a great place to launch from in the Pigeon Forge area, for day trips. It was nice to swim before or after a day outing.
The only challenge, this place is packed with people. There are 20 somethings working in the area and they live in the rental bungalows and one of the cabins. Everyone was friendly, but it felt like you were on a friendly college campus - lots of activity, late into the morning. No one was loud or obnoxious with behavior, but because we're all so close together, you can hear the conversations.
Our bathroom (wall) was 3 feet from the deck of a rental bungalow. The kids (20's) on the deck were polite and no bad language, but they talked and laughed (not loud) until 3am - sounded like they were in our bathroom.
There is also a large group of full time rvers. Some appear to be staying for long periods. Not unexpected with the rvers.
This campground was more of a busy neighborhood, friendly busy neighborhood.
We liked the location, and the cleanliness of this campground - but our family prefers a little more mellow. If you are into friendly busy campgrounds - this is the place for you :)
We'll look for a little more mellow place next time :)

The staff was extremely courteous. The residents were amazingly friendly. Full hookups plus cable and wifi. The only negative is the spaces are a bit tight.

I was reluctant at first to stay here but it got pretty good reviews so we decided to go ahead and try it. It was a great clean campground. The pool was nice. The staff was nice. It was so close to all the attractions. Even Gatlinburg was only about 20 min away. Would definitely stay here again. The only bad thing is you do not get very good Verizon service but that is not the campgrounds fault.

Making a phone reservation was challenging as every piece of information had to be repeated 2-3 times. We finally finished making a reservation but were told they were emailing another registration form that needed to be filled out and signed. We arrived after the office closed and picked up our packet on the after hours board as promised. Although the resort was less than 25% full, they gave us site #1 that backed up to the road and was at the entrance. It sloped toward the back and one side which is the opposite of preferred for our levelors. We got it leveled, so next we needed to get our dogs some exercise. Not seeing a dog park we went into the fenced and completely empty playground area next to our site. After 2 throws of the ball we were kicked out by a grumpy manager or resident acting like he’s a manager. I asked where then was the dog park and he gave a curt “we don’t have one”. If your dog likes to chase the ball or run off-leash this is not the place!
