Cash or check only but she was able to break a larger bill i had. My political sticker is different from her political flag but no one harassed us. Site was almost level, very wide. Very close to pie restaurant!
In all this was a fine place to spend the night.

We needed a place for full hookups on a cold trip thru NM. The turn into our spot was pretty tight. The spaces could be more level. It had snowed and the sites were snow packed. The bathhouse was pretty clean and it was nice that they were heated. We had the place to ourselves and did notice the “political” sign but it wasn’t really in your face. Very small town with really not much to do in the winter.
It was a self serve so make sure you have cash

This little 5 spot RV Park was a perfect place! The owners were so nice and helpful. We had a great time walking around and exploring the land. Our daughters rode bikes and had fun!

We were on our way to Tucson and decided to stop here to spend the night. Die to COVID-19 nothing was open, no pie to be had so we made our own. No cell service, free wifi but not super strong. Penny and Jake were fine hosts. Nice clean bathrooms and showers.

We arrived around 4 o’clock with a reservation for two spots. We pulled in to the parking area to check in and when we realized our two little vans could easily share one of the ample RV size spots we called to ask if that was ok. We had also emailed ahead to confirm. Our emails and calls were never answered. Folks were obviously home, they saw us but did not acknowledge us.
Perhaps this was considered after hours so we pulled into one space, looking forward to a shower in what looked to be a clean and well kept bathhouse.
It was at this point that we noticed a giant political banner in the backyard. To each their own but this was our signal that we were indeed not welcome here.
The place is clean. Sites are level with brand new gravel. Electrical hookups. Bath house that looks nice but we never went inside. If you need hook up and space for a big rig with a view of the owners home and work site storage this place is for you.
If you want a quiet spot in the wilderness look else where. There are many close by.

This was the smallest park we’ve ever stayed in. 5 spaced in total. Friendly staff. Park was super quiet at night. All pull through sites. Bathhouse OK. Lots of feral kitties around. Great for overnighters.

Spots are rocked and wide enough to detach your truck and park next to your camper. Everything is clean, all the hookups are in good order and well placed. Nice showers. Air smelled fresh with a hint of fires from the locals’ fireplaces. Town is very quiet. Easy to walk the whole town. No contact check in.
