The Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, was the last home for Arizona's Territorial government, until Arizona became a state in 1912. Initially all three branches of the new state government occupied the four floors of the statehouse. As the state expanded the branches relocated to adjacent buildings and additions. The 1901 portion of the Capitol is now maintained as the Arizona Capitol Museum with a focus on the history and culture of Arizona. The Arizona State Library occupies the 1938 addition.
Reviews
We stop at every Capital building, when visiting a new state. And spend a whole lot of time, because it was ridiculously hot. I mean ridiculous. I'm not sure why anybody would live here. LOL. I live on the Mendocino Coast in California and it doesn't get hotter than 65. So this was just too much to handle. It was like 100° at 10:00 in the morning. The outside is pretty nice though. We didn't even bother trying to go in.
