Our KOA family would like to welcome you to the Falcon / Colorado Springs NE KOA, located a short 25 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Whether you are visiting one of the area military bases, the Air Force Academy, or Garden of the Gods, area attractions are a convenient drive from our park. Old Colorado City sits between Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs and hosts the Michael Garman Gallery and many boutique shops and unique restaurants. Enjoy a drive or ride the Cog Railway up Pikes Peak, also known as America's Mountain, and enjoy high-altitude doughnuts at the summit. We sit just off Hwy 24 (The Pipeline to the Rockies) with Pikes Peak as our beautiful backdrop. Offering 100' foot pull-through sites and 20/30/50 amp service, we are big rig friendly and also accommodate all smaller units. Don't have an RV? No worries. We have tent sites available. The prairie sunrises are breathtaking and the mountain sunsets are spectacular! All ages can enjoy activities, such as basketball, pickleball, a recreation area for picnics and BBQs, also a playground for the little ones, and much more. Coming soon in 2024 - a bike/walking path, bike rentals for both children and adults, cabins, and much more.

Because this is a newer KOA, it’s really just a huge parking lot with small, young trees. There’s no shade and no privacy between spots. The space between spots is a good size though- you’re not on top of your neighbors. Thankfully it wasn’t full. They’ve done some nice rockscaping which looks nice, but I don’t think they thought it through because when picking up dog poop, you’ll inevitably have to pick up a few rocks as well. The staff were friendly and we liked that they come around and pick up your trash 3 times a day. But, the biggest reason I give less stars is because for a campground this size (I’m gonna guess over 100 spots), there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. I can’t imagine what this would be like in the busy season. It’s next to a small airport, which didn’t bother us, but there is definitely plane noise. It is close to many stores, services, etc. and we liked that it wasn’t right in the middle of a city- it’s set out farther in openness. Overall, it is overpriced for what you get at $70 a night.
