“Turning Water into Something Drinkable”
Highway 1 Brewing Company is the brain child of Jeff & Melissa. Jeff had been home-brewing for several years, while Melissa had been catering and entertaining, the way Grandma taught her, for what seems like eons. They open Highway 1 Brewing Company in February of 2013, with the goal of sharing their mutual love of great beer and food with the local public, while enjoying the amazing Pacific ocean views. Priding themselves on creating unique combinations and incorporating flavors into our brews and small plates that most would not think of, we have concocted some amazing beers, such as the French Mexican War, a French Saison with fresh Jalapenos,and small plates, like local roasted Blue Hubbard crepes with a garlic cream sauce. Working with the local farmers, our menu of brews and bites, change with the seasons, to keep things as local and fresh as possible and always exciting.
