You can Boondock on the west end by the boat launch, but there was 8 in of rain in 24hrs. So?.. we opted to hit the east side with hookups. Price is 25.00 / night if you want full hookups, we just chilled until it cooled off outside a few hours on the way to Norman Oklahoma.

Stopped here in early May 2017. Good directions to get to park. The last mile of road was rough, so have your items secured good. The park was quiet with great view of the lake. The park is not in town but that is what made it nice. There are no shade trees in the campground so it might get hot in mid-summer, but it is the Midwest, where isn't it hot. Anyway if you are in area and need a good and quick place for the night, stop.

Super easy to access from the freeway. That was the best part of this place. I gave it five stars for cleanliness only because there is nothing really there to keep clean. I definitely would not stay long term, it is pretty bare bones and $25 seems pretty pricy for what you get. There are no restrooms on site. The best part of the campground is the quick access from the freeway and the sunrise is pretty nice.

Full-hook up bare bones overnight stop just off the expressway. Decent grocery store in Perry. Small town of 2000 or so. And that's pretty much it.

The best part was easy access, a mile off the highway. 10 camping spots with hookups. There’s a big field with cows next to us. We needed electric and it was end of the day or we would have just gone down the road and found something else.
I thought the price was steep for just what there is. There’s no bathroom nearby and when we drove to it down the road, it was just a toilet and in very bad shape and couldn’t be used. I can’t un-see it. Yuck.
It was peaceful, no one else camping, which I thought was odd, but now I wonder if it’s just a really bad area. Just coming off the highway, again a mile away, was a really seedy looking motel and convenience store with an attached RV park ($22) that looked like it was junky full time campers.
The sites are pretty level and paved, side by side, in the, no trees. There were no picnic tables but we didn’t care about that cuz it was 32 degrees.

Easy access, quiet, and area is clean. Simply a place to park overnight that has hookups. Site was almost level. Water hookup is in a hole in ground that is filled with nasty water. We decided not to even hookup to it and used the little water we had in the holding tank. Some sewer connections are missing caps. As of 6pm on a Friday we are the only ones here. We would stop here again.

Nice overnight place to camp in route to other places. 10 pull through concrete slabs—very long and will accommodate large rigs. Very quiet despite a large group camping nearby. Lake views of a small lake nearby. It’s wide open, no trees, so saw a beautiful sunset and had great satellite reception. As another reviewer said the water hookups are in a hole with a cover and some are filled with water. We searched and found one without standing water. No reservations taken. I called ahead to the county park office and was the campground is rarely full except on July 4. $25/night.

Off season so completely empty other than the man shooting ground hots or prairie dogs with a high powered rifle 100 ft from where we are parked. 12 concrete 65 foot slabs, full hook ups (including bad weather water hook up below soil line) and on top of a hill. Nice view of the little lake and peaceful. No fire rings … tables worn out…
Cattle country so bring your fly swatter … but I’d call this place a hidden gem

Stayed here for a quick overnight. Easy on and off from the freeway. Much better choice than other options in the area. Felt very safe. Sunset was beautiful and fun to have an area for the kids to run around. No bathhouse. Cash box on site to pay camping fee. I would stay here again.
