As we traveled cross country in our camper van we needed somewhere to pull off 80 for a night and this spot worked out nicely for us. It felt safe (have to go through a staffed gate to get in), the sites were spacious and there weren’t many people there. We didn’t have time to explore the lake but there was a little creek behind our site (I think it was #3) which was all our young kids needed for a nights stay. Only slight negative is the sites don’t feel Very secluded from each other, but that wasn’t really an issue for us as it was pretty empty and the spaces were large.
Find first-rate, year-round recreation at this northern Utah destination. During summer, fish, boat, and water-ski on Rockport Reservoir. Tent or RV camp in one of five developed and primitive campgrounds. During winter, ice fish and access nearby snowmobile trails.
