The Woolen Mill store is your source for first quality Pendleton fabrics, remnants and notions for sewing and crafting. More than just a fabric store, the Woolen Mill Store sells Pendleton yarn, buttons, notions and patterns at unbelievable prices. Weekly deliveries from Pendleton's mills bring multicolored selvage and blanket trimmings (worms) that are prized by crafters all over the county for rugs and other creative pursuits.
Pendleton is famous for their prints and patterns- you know, the tribal, Pacific Northwest-y blankets and sweaters. This is the blanket mill. Tours are free Monday through Friday. It's also a neat place to shop for said blankets and sweaters.
Correction to the Tours, there are 40 each day Monday through Friday they start at 9 AM 11 AM 1:30 PM and 3 PM. All of the tours are free.
The hours have changed for sales room Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM.
Tuers are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 1:30 PM and 11 AM to 3 PM. There are no tours on Saturday Sundays or holidays. No pets allowed.
If you are interested in textiles, this is a great stop. Free factory tour shows the carding, spinning and weaving. It's a pretty quick tour, so ok for people who have less interest in textiles. The large gift shop has discounted outlet items in the back, including lots of blankets and fabric by the yard.
