Came for the Caverns and went away saying "wow". The campground was almost empty when I stayed there. The extended caverns tours are well worth the money. Our campsite wasn't quite level, needed some blocks to level the trailer. Very quiet except the faint sound of freight trains which was very relaxing for a city boy like me.

The only reason we stayed here was to join a cavern tour and have lunch in the Grotto. Rate includes breakfast which we did not use due to having lunch plans. I would rather have a lower rate than be charged for something I didn't use.
Sites are not very level, map of the campground was not very good and the roads through the campground require careful navigation with a large RV.
Sites are dirt and very dusty.
W/E hook up only, dump station available.
Cell connections were non-existent for Verizon and AT&T.
AT&T data - non-existent.
Verizon data - 1 bar, sometimes, dBM of -101 or worse.
Very quiet at night, dark skies for great night sky viewing.

The folks that run this park are some of the nicest people we have ever met. We found this campground as the closest RV park to Havasupai trailhead. It's still a 1.5 hour drive in the dark to the trailhead, but that's all on the reservation land so there isn't a closer campground that we know of.

We planned to stay in a dry camping spot the first night since we would be waking up at 2am anyway to get to the trailhead to start our hike. And the owners said we could keep our rig there while we were down in Havasupai and then return and move to a site with hookups. BUT... we were setting up in the dark in a spot without hookups the first night when the owner stopped by. He asked why we didn't just park in a site with hookups and we explained our situation. He insisted we move to a paid site and leave it there while we were down hiking even though we didn't pay for a hookup sites those nights! So we were able to leave our rig in a protected campground with electricity on the whole time we were having fun in Havasupai.

Not sure if that would be an option for other people depending on the time of year you visit. We were a bit late in the year at the beginning of September so the campground was mostly empty. But it was still an incredibly generous offer.

We did pay for 2 nights there and paid $39 a night. Partial hookups (50amp and water, no sewer). And we appreciated the individual shower rooms just a short walk from our campsite. The showers are a bit worn down but clean and warm.

We also used the laundry room since the machines were free and we had quite a bit of dirty clothes after hiking for a few days.

Free breakfast down near the highway in the cafe. We were the only people in there and they had a pretty good selection for a continental breakfast.

We ate at the restaurant up by the campsites. The food was good, not great, but a warm bite to eat after hiking Havasupai was just what we needed.

We finished off our stay with a tour of the grotto. It was interesting, but the best part was the tour guide and his ridiculous puns.

The entire complex has been around for a while and shows some age (especially down near the highway), but you're not going to find much else around here and for a night's stay in the middle of the desert with no light pollution and close-ish to Havasupai... this was an amazing campground.

Stopped for a night to see cave. Nice family run place. Has feel of fun Route 66 tourist trap, but it works and is fun. The rv park is dirt and some rv spots not so level but it was nice with trees and there are trails to explore. Rv spots have power and water but a dump station is available. There is no cell service but said they are working to get WiFi out to the rv park.

Stopped overnight from New Mexico on our way home to California. We wanted a quiet out of the way place far from the road noise of the 40 and this was the perfect spot. A bit of a drive North from Seligman on the Old Route 66. Called ahead and was told if we arrived after 6pm to just pick a spot and pay at the office in the morning. We had our choice of spots with only one bigger rig on the area. Camp sites had electric and water with picnic table, nearby trash cans and bbq pits. This looks like it gets real busy in summer months but not in December! Buy it was cold and windy. Only heard the train in the distance only one time. In the morning we made our way out and paid at the office but honestly could have easily left without doing so. The dump station was at the motel and the old gas station surrounded by old cars. Will stay here again. But maybe not in summer when folks stay here to visit the nearby caverns.

The RV park is about a mile in from the main inn and Route 66. Way in the back on it’s own but there is a gift shop and restaurant at the RV Park entrance. The map mentions 51 RV spots. All different sizes with water and 20/30/50 electric. There is a dump but it is near the Inn.

Came on memorial weekend and only about 5 RV’s. We were pretty isolated.

This place must have been nice in it’s heyday as even the road to the RV Park is a little creative but the park itself is’t well maintained any longer. Lots of plant growth in some spots and even broken benches.

The main attraction is the caverns tour, which we all liked. Being in a fairly empty campground was a nice bonus too (for a change).

Still a good stop for some solitude and of course, visiting the caverns.

Great camp ground with water and electric hookups. Dump station is also available. Skies are dark for great star watching.
