There are quite a few well spaced sites along the road back to the trailhead. The road is good, but very bumpy. You can take the sites near the entrance closer to the main road, or drive further back and take one with some solitude. The trailhead is 4 miles down the road at the end.

Beautiful views. Many spread out campsites if you continue down the bumpy road. Good amount of cars pass by site during day. Verizon full bars too!

Loved my stay here. Drive up the (bumpy) road and find many spread out campsites. Don’t fear driving 10 mins up the road. Try the hike at the end of the road. It’s awesome. Full Verizon bars too!

A variety of solid camp sites along Barnhardt Rd. going back to the trailhead. This location is a quick trip up from the east valley. Road is bumpy but I saw multiple sedans drive by my spot without issues.
I would recommend for easy dispersed camping. Stayed here in a tent with an SUV. Saw quite a few RVs and truck campers.
No 5g but strong enough LTE to use the internet.

Great spot for a quick trip from the east valley. A variety of sites along Barnhardt Rd. leading back to the trailhead. Road is bumpy but I saw multiple sedans drive by my spot without issues.
