“over 13,000 action figures!”

Whether you're into superheroes or My Little Ponies, you'll find something to entertain at the Toy and Action Figure Museum. The massive exhibits of collectibles is impressive, and as you inspect the displays up close, you'll only find yourself more intrigued by the museum. Almost every square inch of this place is covered with figurines, toys, cards, and more. It's a total blast from the past that will have you feeling like a kid in a candy store. -Roadtrippers "The Toy and Action Figure Museum kind of looks like the state your childhood room was in just before your mom demanded that it was time to clean up. Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma is home to one of the coolest museums in the state, for both big kids and little kids alike!  Founded by toy designer Kevin Stark, the museum has been giving nostalgia bombs to guests since 2005, when it opened it’s Oklahoma doors to the public. The Toy and Action Figure Museum was part of Paul’s Valley’s Vision 2010 initiative to bring droves of tourists to the city with all sorts of museums, restaurants, and bars. The plan worked, and to date the museum is the only one of its kind.  The museum celebrates everything from artwork, to collectables, and has reach upwards of 13,000 action figures under one roof. The Toy and Action Figure Museum also has an entire section dedicated to Batman called the Batcave, and featured nothing but Batman related toys, figures, and collectables.  Of course what everyone comes to see is the massive diorama made out of thousands of action figures, which have been posed in a choatic showdown of every conceivable fandom in the entire history of fandoms… it’s awesome. If you’re going to be passing through Oklahoma this summer, and you’re looking for a fun way to pass a couple of hours, do yourself a favor and make sure to visit the Toy and Action Figure Museum. Not only will the amount of collectables blow your mind, you’re bound to find something that takes you right back to your childhood! Promise." -Roadtrippers With over 13,000 action figures, and hundreds of drawings from some of Oklahoma's most famous cartoonists, the museum welcomes children and collectors alike.  "The museum got its start in 2000 during a citywide process called VISION 2010. In a series of meetings, local citizens came together and identified goals they would like the community to reach in the next ten years. Many things were discussed. Among them the town wanted unique attractions that would help to make Pauls Valley a destination city. With the help of local artist and toy designer (and collector) Kevin Stark, a board was formed to start working on the world’ s first museum devoted to the art and sculpting of action figures! The museum acquired its 501(c)3 nonprofit status and the group began researching and creating the plans for a first – class facility in the heart of downtown Pauls Valley. It took the group five years to put everything together and the doors opened on October 15, 2005. Since that time the museum has had visitors from every state in the union and over 40 foreign countries and has helped serve as an economic catalyst for the downtown area. With group tours from state wide public and private schools, senior citizen groups and various tourist groups, not to mention curious travelers, the museum has seen over 50,000 visitors since it opened its doors."

I wasn't really looking forward to this. However, after going, it is one of my favorite things from day 1 of our trip. I could spend hours looking at the "Adult Collector's Bedroom" display.

Pretty awesome place! A house for the action figures that everybody grew up with. If you have a favorite character, chances are they have it here! It's really cool how the owner is able to properly take care of everything. This is definitely not only for the kids but also for the kids-at-heart. A unique attraction, indeed.

A must see if you love this stuff. I don't think there was any action figure ever made missing from this museum.

Put 'get sensory overload of toys and action figures ' on your bucket list, find your way to Pauls Valley, and cross this off your list.

I had a quite enjoyable visit. A very well done curation of so many toys and action figures. I appreciate some of the quirky staging of items. Of course Batman would wear a Batman life preserver while driving his bat mobile.

Great vignettes of military figures. Fun area for kids to play dress up and enjoy some toys. The bat cave gets a thumbs up. Lest you think this place is stale...I was impressed that the latest Wonder Woman movie is in the mix.

Kudos to Kevin and his staff. Oh, and Pauls Valley is simply a gem of a place.

Didn't know what to expect but once we got in we really enjoyed the museum. They have so many figures and displays to look at. My son really enjoyed it and he loved the kids play area where they had stuff to dress up and lots of toys to play with.
