“located in beautiful Patterson”
Kit Fox RV Park is located in beautiful Patterson, California. The town of Patterson was modeled after the city layouts of Washington, D.C. and Paris, France using circles and radiating streets, all graced by various types of trees. Kit Fox RV Park & RV Camping is sparkling new and located just off the I-5 where a comfortable and enjoyable stay awaits you.

Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on May 12, 2024This is a Motel 6 of campsites. It’s right along Interstate 5 besides all of the usual highway chains of motels and eateries. The sites are narrow and the place was crowded even in February. The campground is essentially a large parking lot with spaces for campers. It has full hookups available, television (which we don’t use) and wifi. The speed of the wifi at our location was painfully slow. Traffic noise from Interstate 5 was constant all night. While the staff are reasonably friendly, the facilities do not seem to get cleaned very often for such a large campground. All in all this is only a place to lay your head if you have no other place to stop in this part of California.

We stayed here on the way to Sacramento from San Jose, the sites are very clean, gravel with paved roads around the park. Full hookups and a nice little mall with some food choices if you want to take the night off of cooking.
This isn't a getaway or fishing hole with a lot of trees, but it's the perfect clean, safe, spot to stop a while right off I5.

On my way to the Bay Area to visit family I stayed here 1 night. The office was closed (there is someone around for campers though) so you find a spot, park and then pay. I chose one up against the back fence, #70, which had a nice grassy section.
For 1 night this place is nice. The sites are tight yet some have shade and/or grass. Though very close to busy highway 5 it's surprisingly quiet. The campground is quiet as well. You're close to gas and food.
My back in site was level on a gravel ground. There's parking if you have a vehicle on cement at the site.
The wifi was pretty good, I streamed YouTube videos. This was a surprise since without a booster I usually get spotty wifi at RV parks.
I'd stay here again when I come to visit friends and family in the area.

This is a great place for an overnight stop off the I5. We felt safe and it was pretty quiet considering how close you are to the highway. There was fast food and gas stations close by.

We stopped here for a night as a last minute decision. We didn’t book online because it said sites on the south side were first come first serve. We arrived around 5pm on a Friday night and there were a few pull thru sites available still. No nonsense park but it was clean. self check in was easy. It was close to i5 so it was quite noisy but nothing our fans and tv couldn’t drown out.

Stayed here in early November.
Large tidy park with clean bathouses. Far enough from I-5 not to hear it. Rate is with Passport America. Full hookups.
30 minutes to a Trader Joe’s (in Modesto) through backroads/farmlands.
Convenient, reasonable overnight stop.
Excellent cell service.

Great location and clean enough. But my only complaint is it is nothing like the pictures! No grass anywhere and it’s mostly used for storing trailers. I would stay here again but only if necessary.

Not the worst place but I don't think I would stay here again unless absolutely necessary. More of an RV storage and full timer place. Seemed to get a lot of people pulling in just for the night, and at all hours. Spots are very tight and close together. Shower was not the cleanest, but it pushed out hot water. Laundry facility was handy. Staff was very friendly. Right off the freeway and close to gas stations and restaurants which was convenient but noisy.

I tried Kit Fox in spite of the previous poor reviews, and pleased that I did. It is a large park with may long term renters, some well kept and others ? I was allocated site #123, fairly level and nicely tree shaded. There are no picnic tables. No unusual loud noise, except some from the distant I-5. Walking distance to a few restaurants and limited shopping. Walmart and much more a few minutes drive away. Bathrooms/showers are awful! Friendly and welcoming staff. My rate was with PA.
