The Cherokee Landing State Park is right next to Lake Tenkiller and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. We stayed in the Creek RV area which has mature pine trees and provides Concrete pads, water, electric, fire rings, picnic tables and bbq grills. There’s also a large covered pavilion for groups. This area overlooks a large grassy area with disk golf. The Seminole Area is right across from us and is an open grassy area perfect for large RVs. Some have power and water hookups. You can walk to the cliffs overlooking the lake or grab a picnic area.
Our host couple were so accommodating and took the time to help us change sites, showed us where the dump site was and even brought us free firewood.
We will be back!

We stayed 2 nights here, both in site #60. The first night there was one other camper in the campground, but the 2nd night we were all by ourselves, despite having about 100 possible sites in the park. Perhaps part of it was the park was not fully open, due to recent flooding. The host was fantastic. We arrived during a rainstorm and he got in his Gator ATV and lead us to our site and even help us back in. He's a really hard working guy that does his best to keep everything in perfect order. The Bath house was impeccably clean, however, had one of those showers with a 5 second timed push button. It should be mentioned that there is only one full bath house for the entire park. Luckily it was very close to our site (#60), however, it's probably 1/2 mile from the sites at the other end of the park. The campground is on a large lake, which would be nice in the summer for fishing and swimming and other water sports. Stop by the Bird and Bison restaurant in Keys; they have a nice patio in the back for casual dining, have great prices and large portions.

I don’t know if I have ever stayed in a more beautiful park. My only complaint is the bath house. We camped near the lower section in Choctaw. Our closest bathroom was an outhouse. Otherwise, the place was amazing!
