We chose this campground because we needed a quiet place to stop and get some work done before heading to our next destination. The reviews were not that great and the website is horribly outdated. But you can't beat the price (we paid $238 for 7 nights).
The campground is dated, not doubt about it. It needs some TLC. And it's like stepping back in time staying here. Our original idea of having some time to get some work done went right out the window with all of the places to see and things to do in this area.
Some definite things to see and do: Bald Point State Park. Amazing scenery and seclusion.
Wakulla Springs - Take a 40 minute boat ride through a natural spring and see all sorts of wildlife including alligators, manatee, and so many species of birds. Mashes Sands beach is a short 6 minute drive down a beautiful road. And there are so many seafood restaurants within a few miles. We bought huge, fresh shrimp for $6lb right down the road.
Don't expect a lot here except a quiet campground and amazing views. Camp on the water if you stay here. It's not much more and the views of the sunset are incredible. The showers were the very hot and the bathhouse was decent. The pool was not open during our stay.
They do have wifi and it worked really well at times. We found that the best time to use it was early in the morning - 6-8AM.

Amazing fireworks for the 4th! We was disappointed when we didn't get waterfront, but after the first night they moved us for the other 2 nights to ocean view. Sites was really close but the hostess was extra nice and so was all the campers. Pool was clean. Restrooms clean. Only negative comments is water had dead fish and lots of sea foam. Kids couldn't swim but they was beach area across the road. Nice seafood restaurants. Hope to be back next year!

Used the campground as a base to explore Wakulla parc, St.George Isl, Carrabelle and Apolochicola. Wittnessed all evenings a beautiful sunset, while njoying a glass of wine we noticed dolfins rounding up mullet for diner.
The restrooms with showers were dated but clean, the people friendly and the reception helpfull. Washing & drying for $1,5 each worked fine.

The campground has clean bathrooms with hot showers, WiFi, laundry facilities, swimming pool, playground, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a pavilion, a boat ramp, as well as a recreation room with board games and a foosball table. They advertise a fishing/sunset pier, but it had been destroyed by Hurricane Michael in 2018. However, it was under construction while we were there, and looked like it had been for a while, so it should be completed within a month or two.
The park has lots of all kinds; waterfront, pull-through, full hook-ups, and so on. They go from $41 to $48 a night, with the more expensive lots being on the water. On holidays the rates go up an additional $10. There are also monthly and yearly rates available.
We stayed on lot 28, which is the biggest lot in the park and has the best view while also being the most expensive--which is probably why it was the only lot they had available. It has a large "yard" with a fire ring leading down to the water with an amazing view of the Ochlockonee Bay and some spectacular sunsets. It has full hook-ups and cable.
The only complaints we had were all related to the time of year. It is hot and muggy this time of year in Florida, and there's no escaping that. There were also a lot of gnats and mosquitoes, but mainly right around dusk. Once it got dark and the bats came out, all the bugs disappeared. Regardless, we would recommend visiting the park at another time of the year when it's not so hot.

Stayed here in late October, 2020. We would highly recommend taking a waterfront site. They aren't that much more expensive than the other sites, but very well worth the view and nice sitting areas -- with fire ring -- on the waterfront behind your rig. We sat out each night for a great sunset over Ochlokonee Bay. Sites along the waterfront can be tight and backing in may take a couple of attempts, especially if you are across from the pool and bath house. The pool was very nice and the bath rooms were updated with great showers and plenty of space. Laundry rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff here as well. Easy access here -- just be aware it is the last right tun before reaching the causeway over the bay. Traffic noise is a small issue here during the day, but it is not a problem at night.
Lots and lots to do in this area. Exploring the coast will keep you occupied over several day trips. We especially liked St. George Island for its lighthouse and the beaches at the State Park. Carabelle was a great location to pick up some deliciously fresh seafood. Lots of dining options in this area with plenty of shopping nearby in Crawfordville.
We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this Park for a relaxing, waterfront stay.

This RV Park has a nice setting right on the water!
Pros:
Great bathrooms
Pretty views from the beach area
Nice fishing dock
Friendly staff and people
Lots to visit from the area
Quiet
Safe
Close to bike path
Cons:
Tight spots but I expect that from an RV Park
Not a ton of room to walk the dogs in the park.
Overall a great spot and we’d stay again!

We spent 4 nights here in March. Our site was in the middle of the campground. Our awning overlapped our neighbors slide. As the result of everyone being so close, it was also very noisy. Little effort is made to control dust so with any breeze there is a lot of dust. If you had a water view, it would be much better (still tight). Campground is a mix of short and long term campers.

We stayed there , sites very tight together. Old school rv park. But is was not overpriced for what it was.
Just went to book for upcoming journey in that direction, they have decided they are worth big bucks, 68.00 a night. 20.00 increase from last year. Maybe one of the big boys have bought out. Just not worth that kind of cash for that type park.
Good luck your awning don’t hit the slide next to you.

Site #2 - $62.00/ night plus tax for $68.82.
VERY narrow and short site. Just enough room for our 36’ class A. Car barely fit across the back without impinging on neighbors. Pull In gravel site has a nice view of the waterway and was level with a small paver patio. Picnic bench was in front of the site. Fire ring on the grass in front of site. You had to buy firewood from campground and it didn’t burn well at all!
Utilities were OK, but WiFi was unusable. We didn’t use cable. There is a nice bike/walking path to the town, about 3 miles away, but it is a very small town. My-Way seafood had nice shrimp, and further into town was Mineral Springs Seafood that had a case of fish, shrimp, and dips. There is also a Dollar General store in town.
The campground is right next to the highway and bridge. There was some traffic noise, but running the fan at night helped. Angelo’s restaurant across the street has good reviews, but is closed Monday and Tuesday when we were there. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it or the other facilities.
The area doesn’t have too much to offer. Campgrounds in Carrabelle looked nicer, about 30 minutes away.

Friendly staff, interior site was fine-had a fair water view. Facilities well kept. Bridge noise minimal. Waterfront sites appeared tight with bigger rigs. Class B and B+ looked comfortable enough. Would definitely return. P.S. bring some bug spray!
