Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden Center

Historic urban estate with formal, woodland and working gardens around a 1902 Colonial Revival house.  The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden is dedicated to preserving this 1902 Edwardian estate as an oasis of beauty and tranquility, providing a community resource for horticultural education, enjoyment and inspiration for people of all ages. They offer classes for adults and children, including Roots and Soots. An intergenerational educational program connects senior citizens, students and teachers. The integrated curriculum teaches science, math, and language arts. Environmental stewardship, healthy lifestyles and community service are also key outcomes.
