Admission is free!! The Palmetto Historical Park offers children of all ages the opportunity to learn about the history of Palmetto and the area on the north side of the Manatee River. While touring the park; visitors can check for mail at the 1880 Post Office; write on slates in the Schoolhouse and try on pioneer clothing in the cottage. The Chapel/Military Museum and 1914 Carnegie Library add to visitors’ experience.
