Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 02, 2023We were visiting family in the Tampa Bay area and found this RV park in northern Pinellas county. The location made it easy to resupply, get RV items, and get items for small repairs. Within 5 miles are several stores like Publix, Walmart, Hone Depot, an Camping World. Travel time to downtown St. Petersburg is 45 minutes.
The RV park has several different RV sites from back in to pull thru. They also have premium sites with patios, furniture, fire pits, and umbrellas. We decided to upgrade because we were entertaining family during our stay.
The RV park has a nice pool area with a large cabana area with covered seating, ping pong table, and large screen TV. There is a Indoor rec room open dawn to dusk with three tables and air conditioned.
The RV park is dog friendly. There is a fenced dog park and a dog washing station.
The amenities include very nice bath houses with three showers for each sex (m/f). Their is also a family style unisex bathhouse with one shower. The laundrey facility is opened 24 hours with four washers and four dryers. The both cost $2.50. You can get change from the office. They have $10 rolls of quarters. The washer runs 30 minutes and dryer 45 minutes. There is a covered area with seating and a grill. They have a number of outdoor games too.
The landscaping is very nice and make the park more inviting and relaxing.
Cellular access was excellent and our internet access via the our hotspot was great. The park also has wifi. Cable access is provided at the sites.
While we paid a little more for the premium site, we thought it was money well spent. This RV park was consistent with other KOA we have stayed. It is probable the best kept KOA we have stayed. The 10% discout offsets taxes and is worth getting the free discount card.
We are likely to stay here again.

This property is now a KOA. We found the property to have clean amenities with lush tropical mature foliage. Nice but smaller pool, laundry and air conditioned common areas, including a small camp store. Small playground and dog park. Some sites have some shade. I'm afraid some of the sites behind us may get flooded during a heavy rain as I tried walking around to get pictures and there were several spots along the road that I had to walk around to get to the other side due to puddling. Along our row (site 305) the sites are a little tight to get into if you aren't an expert at navigating your rig. Most of the sites have a coquina shell pad and patio, while some have patios with pavers and built in fire pits. The sites could use some TLC (weed overgrowth in the patio area), but the hookups were all newer with no issues. We could hear traffic from Hwy19 while outside, but not inside. This may be a consideration for those sites closer to the front of the property. The surrounding are seemed safe and we had no issues with leaving our chairs and other non essential personal items outside. If we visit the area again, this would he our first choice of places to stay.

This was our first big trip in our new-to-us Class A. Wasn't crazy about the condos directly behind our site since they had a view directly into our setup. But, site was good - Nice and level. It was our first time at a KOA so I did not have any expectations. The staff was friendly. The landscaping could use some attention since there was a pile of dead branches on our site, and some of the other sides had weeds growing up through the gravel. We were told it is hard to maintain in the summer because everything grows fast. True, but we also live in Florida and seem to manage it at home. Seems like a good place for families. The amenities are good. We took Uber into Tarpon Springs and it was only $12. I highly recommend you do the same - Parking is an issue there. But, the restaurants are great and it is a fun place to go. When booking, ask for a site in the back, and away from the condos.

Hi all. We had the worst site in the park. Whatever you do DO NOT accept site 128. It was a back in site that awkwardly T boned and another RV was in our backyard. Other site were better. But typical KOA with close neighbors. The best part of this park is the landscaping. Beautiful and well maintained.
And as a holiday park it has the little perks of putt putt and pool.
You are on the highway. So if you get a spot close to the road it’s noisy.

We stayed here for two nights prior to the 4th of July holiday. The first night we were practically alone, the second night is filling up quickly!
Virtually none of the sites are level, we are all on blocks, wood, etc.
We paid for the cheapest site possible. We are close to the pool, playground, tetherball, and ping pong. There are some outdoor kitchens and a community room currently closed due to the pandemic. This KOA is doing contactless checkin, we had no trouble at all.
The sites even have cable! This is nice during the oppressive heat in Florida. Our neighbors are all super close to us, we are like little sardines. For us, this is no problem. For others or longer stays, this would be annoying. I could reach out my dining room window and touch the tent set up next to me, and we don’t even have slides!!
We enjoyed walking around the KOA and meeting our neighbors. It’s nice to see a variety of setups. Notably, horseshoes are unattainable as they are basically at someone’s campsite. WiFi is good here, but we are near the front office.
Wildlife is nice! We have butterflies and cardinals in the bushes near us! We went for a short walk down the road and encountered a large snake! Speedway is close for sodas and beer.
Overall, we’ve enjoyed our getaway. We’ve slept well, enjoyed the pool, and enjoyed our air conditioning hah! This is great for a short stay or overnight. If you have a toad, this could be nice for a beach getaway!

We ended up needing to stay here because of the recent rain closed a local recreation area. This is an older park and the roads are very narrow for a large rig. We needed to unhook before going back. I need to update our profile in that we now have a 45' rig. The staff was very helpful getting us spotted into our site and even let us play with our large German Shepard in a maintenance area. The pet friendly sites are a joke unless you have a tiny dog. They are 8 x 8 fenced areas. We did have a nice spot in the back and I was surprised that we could hardly hear the very busy Hwy19 right at the entrance of the park. I didn't use the bathroom, pool or laundry. Our site did not have the best placement for the sewer drain. It was upslope from where anyone would park. The water pressure was weird too so we used our onboard water and just refilled it. I do like smaller parks tho so that was nice.

The sites are pretty close but there’s plenty of trees and shrubs between sites which is nice. Owners were super nice! We got woken up by dogs quite a bit but that’s not the fault of the site.

We had a great stay here at this lovely park. The landscaping is beautiful and the owners and employees are the friendliest we’ve experienced at a campground before. Our site, 116 was towards the back and had beautiful trees around it. The pool was heated and the kids had a great time swimming. The playground and putt putt were fun and our dog enjoyed being off leash in the dog park. The WiFi worked great too! All in all a great stay and we look forward to returning!

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting family in Tampa. The road noise is a bit loud as the park is right off a busy road. The landscape is very nice. Roads are asphalt and sites are crushed shell. The park is well maintained and staff were friendly. We filled up one propane tank here. Seemed more quiet toward the back. Cell service was not smooth, even though our phones said it had 3 bars of 5G. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are back in the area.

This campground was an amazing little gem. Every employee was super friendly, and Manager Christopher was amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. The landscaping was perfect, and well maintained and there were events being held every night / day.
Nacho Bingo night was so much fun and my daughter won grass slippers which she just adores.
Free breakfast every day was a welcome treat.
The bathroom was SUPER clean and had COLD AC and it was just great.
I cannot recommend this place enough.
Internet speeds were so so within the park.
I have a Peplink BR2 Max Duo and we had great service there with both T-mobile and ATT.
