“where the road meets the trail”
Friendly and clean RV park on the corner of Alternate 19 and Tampa Road in Palm Harbor. Next to the Pinellas Trail for biking; walking and skating. Great location for restaurants; golf and shopping. Our pool is gas heated and kept at 86 degrees. Reservations suggested.

Most of the people here live here. Not the best for those who want to hang out outside their camper. For this price, not worth it. $90 for 2 nights? Our neighbors look like they haven’t left this park for years. Our site was 74 and it’s right next to a main road, semi trucks, mail trucks and people speeding by. Not going to be coming here again.

The owners have worked hard to clean and improve the park. The owners are friendly and accommodating.
We've enjoyed meeting many new and repeat RVers. Dog friendly as well.

We stayed here two weeks ago for one week. The laundry facilities were clean, spacious, & had a home-y feel. All machines were in working order. The pool was well taken care of, & we saw people exercising in it several mornings. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. Roads are narrow, so backing in was kinda tight. There are a number of sites that appear to have permanent/long term residents, but none looked rundown. We were in site 24, & there was a wooden fence behind our site. On the other side of it, there were several RVs not shown on the park map that were pretty rundown. I’m not sure what the situation is with those, but the residents were quiet. Our kids (2yo & 4yo) biked around the park, & everyone seemed kind, though we did make sure to avoid the RV with the political Santa. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. There is no playground in the RV park, but it is in close proximity to so much fun stuff, including Weaver Park, where we spent several afternoons. We checked out the Tampa Zoo, the sponge docks & mini aquarium of Tarpon Springs, Clearwater Beach, Dunedin Causeway, & Honeymoon Island during our week at Caladesi, so there is clearly plenty to do. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!

We came to the area to visit our daughter and her family. They had recently moved to Palm Harbor. Chris was very friendly and accommodating in working with us for our stay! The park is a perfect location for fun family activities! Close to Honeymoon Island State Park, the Pinellas Trail, and great restaurants! It was the perfect park for our visit and we hope to come back soon! Thanks again Chris for your hospitality, Randy & Karen Damm

After reading some good reviews I called and made reservations here. We got stuck in sandy site while backing in. After being stuck for 5 hours, we finally escaped this poorly run RV park with the help of a tow truck! Chris is unable to manage, and he is insulting. Beware! Stay away.

Overall, not a bad RV campground. Unfortunately, the manager was very rude and unapproachable. The WiFi was advertised as good, but never could get it to work. Our site was very tight, and close proximity to a nearby road made it fairly noisy. On the upside, we were close to the Pinellas Trail and Dunedin. Clearwater is expensive!!

This place is a small slice of what camping should be like everywhere. This an older small RV park with about 80 sites. The property is neat, clean and comfortable. My wife and I really love the personal service we receive from Chris the owner. This guy is the hardest working RV park owner I have ever met! He even gave me his cell number! Who does that? The property has a nice little clubhouse, bath house, propane station and awesome heated pool with a large BBQ and custom oversized umbrellas. The WIFI has been updated and has worked excellent for me this week which is very important as I run my business while I travel. Lastly, Location, Location, Location! 3 minutes to the Honeymoon Island bridge, 2 minutes to quaint Dunedin shops & restaurants, 15 minutes from historic Tarpon Springs and literally a 30 second bike to the famous bike trails. Put this place on your list of RV parks to visit. This is our 4th visit here in 2 years and we will be back again soon.

Small RV park and in great location, close to everything! Staff are friendly, facilities are clean. Originally we picked a 'corner' site for ease of backing our 36' 5th wheel into, but Chris upgraded us to a bigger spot and when we got there we were very thankful he did. Original spot would have been tight with not much room for our company to hang out. Site 56 plenty of room as are many others there. Will definitely stay again when in the area visiting friends and family.

This is an older, well worn park, with mostly long term residents. Sites are close, level with FHU, gravel pads and concrete patios. Communication with tne manager, Chris, is only via texting. The park is close to and long bike path, George's produce stand (that also sells fresh meat and fish) and Strachan's ice cream.

We are Floridians and have never heard of Palm Harbor. We were looking for a new spot to explore and we are so glad we came across Caladesi RV park. The RV park itself is small and quant. It had a swimming pool and laundry facility...so really what else do you need? Chris, the owner, is very attentive and very available for all of your needs. The wifi here is the best we have ever experienced at an RV park. We felt very safe here and put 11 year oldade friends and played throughout the park with no worries. There is so much to do in close proximity to this place, including the towns of Dunedin, Tarpon Springs and the beautiful Clearwater Beaches. We will definitely be back!
