Found this place as we were trying to outrun some weather. Had seen a google review. From just 4 hrs earlier and they hit it right! No reservations showed up was offered creek side slot with electric /water - since we were a small unit.
This park has a great mom & pop feel but with great amenities!
Big rigs, dog & kid friendly! Great vibe!

The location worked for us so we booked a night at The Last Resort, although it was not our last resort as we had other options. It was close to the main highway, down a little hill on a gravel road that was graded well. TJ was a gracious host and happily walked us to our site by the river. While the parking area and roads were rather bumpy and rough, our camping spot was level and we did not need to use levelers. The camping spot also was rough and rudimentary - a table and fire ring, set to the side. (someone had used the fire ring over the location where the picnic table was positioned- ashy for the feet). The internet was almost non-existent - you had to walk up and stand by the office to get connectivity. (that could partially be a result of the remote location). Phones did not work there at all - needed internet connectivity. While there was a 'guest house' with amenities such as a washer, dryer, stove, sink set up, table and chairs - the bathroom was - IMO - lacking, although clean. 1 room for men, 1 for women, each containing 1 shower, 1 toilet and no lock on the door. But - it worked and I was happy to clean up and get on with my evening. Again, this place is a diamond in the rough. Plans are underway to expand the offerings for larger rigs, but I can't imagine MORE people without a different type of bath house situation (and I didn't hear mention of that).

As the name states, make this your last option. The office gal was incredibly rude so we decided not to stay. Very obvious that most people live here and it is not a good option for the standard traveler. The park one mile before was much much nicer. Go there!

This is a great place. They have WiFi and I was able to make calls with my ATT service.
The bathroom is clean and well equipped. There’s a playground for kids with swings, tether ball and a volleyball net for the adults.
It’s close to the Blanco Basin, and Arapaho peaks. These places offer a lot of natural beauty if your a photographer or just want to take a drive to see the sights. Both these place have good hard packed road and are suiteable for a passenger car.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay there.

Can use a bit more sprucing up but it’s a nice place overall! The camp host was super nice and helpful, even gave us a few flies to try for catching fish! Would stay again!

Stayed here as a last minute stop. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Gave me a slight discount since I was alone and wouldn’t use much.
Warning-showers use a $5 token for 8 minutes! Newly remodeled bath/shower house.
Very quiet and pleasant.
