Campground with an amazing view. Unfortunately the restrooms are a little further away if you want to be closer to the canyon

New installations located entering Page. Infrastructures surpass usual RVers needs. Modern sanitary installations, levelled pads, silent overnight! All is perfect!

We spent 3 nights here in June, 2023. They told us the place had just opening in February of the same year. So it's very new, and it shows. Everything was immaculate. It's in a nice location, with attractive cliffs all around, and it's actually pretty close to Antelope Canyon and very close to Page itself. As you'd expect from a place so new, the power, water & sewer were all top notch. The main check in building (with a little shop) was pretty upscale. And the bathhouses were great too (with caveat, coming later). You get a full bathroom to yourself; a lockable room with shower, sink with large counter, toilet, shampoo/conditioner and plenty of space overall. They pipe in music so that sounds overall are muffled. They have laundry facilities as well, but we didn't use those.

All in all, sounds like a 5 star experience, yes? Well, a few things bothered me for the future of this place:

1) The sites, planted with still very young trees, are mostly ornamental rock. And growing everywhere through this rock are tumbleweeds. I live in NM, and know how pernicious these can be. Yet no effort appeared to be underway to nip them in the bud. These will soon be unattractive nuisances. And will make the sites seem much less worth the rather high price of camping here (we paid $85 per night).

2) The restrooms, although lovely, were CHRONICALLY out of toilet paper and paper towels. We learned to bring our own. One morning, I went in and could have had access to any of the 7 or 8 rooms. NONE had TP or paper towels. Not one. This happened consistently during our visit. They need to solve that, or their noteworthy bathrooms will become an annoyance.

3) Also, note that the sites are up on curbs. We grounded out our hitch several times when pulling in or out. I can't help but feel the sites could have been built at more like ground level, and not up on curbs.

Still, a very nice stay.

Bad experience: Reserved three nights, changed to two upon arriving. Woman at the front desk had difficulty with the computer refunding the 3rd night. There was no transaction showing up in the credit card app, so I asked for a paper receipt. She said it can take 7 days to get refunded. Emailed 10 days later with copy of receipt, no reply. Called the next day and woman said “it’s already been refunded, take it up with your bank.” First time ever having a business tell me to file a dispute. Posted a similar review on Google Maps, they replied, "you are absolutely correct" - yet still didn't refund. (They had no cancellation policy on the web site, or in the reservation email they send you.) Other bad: web site says “digital nomad fiber internet” but the internet was terrible for the 2 days. Woman at front desk was already aware of it. The pool was closed and it’s hot in Page, AZ. One star is for the bathrooms, which are new and very clean.

Loved This Campsite! Everything Was Top Notch. They just opened in Feb of this year (2023). Nice new roomy private bathrooms, with shower, toilet, sink, counter space and more than enough room to get dressed after shower. Each private bathroom has a door that locks. They provide toiletries needed, including shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Laundry facility included, but did use them. Nice, clean pool. Cute little store inside the office that you’ll find your basic camping needs that you might have forgotten. Fire pits on each site. Campground is landscaped with young desert loving plants that will take some time to grow in and will be even more lovely then. Nice hikes all around. Close to Horseshoe Bend & Lake Powell/Antelope Canyon. Not A Single Complaint! Will Return.

curbs. Along the edges of every space there are curbs. You have to drive over them to get into your space. Worst design ever.

7am leaf blowers. Why? There ARE NO LEAVES. And if they are blowing the sand, that's a futile effort. Please just don't do this to people and our planet.

crews walking through our site. There was some kind of work being done, so there was a crew milling about. However, they were walking through our sites (and not once or to do something there, but throughout our whole stay.)

Sites are also pretty tightly crammed in. We were stuck next to other people when there were plenty of empty sites during our entire stay. They could have spread us out a bit more.

Also this place is now called Roam America Horseshoe Bend. I guess yet another rebranding was needed.

Although it is new, you will see on most days this RV park has many, many empty spaces, due to the bad management here. On the first day I arrived I was told by the agent at the desk that I could select my site from any of the empty sites which I did. After driving my rig to the site I was then contacted by the manager and told I had to move somewhere else to another site which she had assigned to me, because apparently that site was one of their most popular and profitable and they didn't want me there. She did not care that I had been driving all day or about anything but the money to be made from renting that site at a nightly rate and clearly did not communicate this to the employee at the front desk. This would set the tone for all my interactions with the management here. They do not communicate well with their staff, they also don't care about the comfort or safety of guests. I had stayed there for several months until they asked me for proof of employment and then told me I had to leave by the end of the month even though I had already paid my monthly rent and had paid up until the 18th of the following month. They refused to issue me a prorated refund and are still placing unauthorized charges on my credit card without my consent, which is illegal and my bank is looking into it. I believe this was due to my reporting of some safety and quality of life issues, since they only asked me to provide this info after I mentioned some unattended campfires in the firepits, which constitutes illegal retaliation. Some of these issues included unattended campfires, off leash aggressive dogs and noise pollution including repetitive late night barking. see video here tinyurl.com/579fbfrh
When I mentioned the unattended campfire issue to Stan the maintenance person he aggressively got in my face, yelling and spitting and said, quote "This is private property we can do whatever the hell we want". and then threatened to start a fire right next to my RV. see video here tinyurl.com/568j96yk This will give you some idea of the type of people they have running this place. If the owner of this place has any sense instead of challenging my factual and documented review they will reconsider their choice in management.

I recently stayed at the Roam America Horseshoe Bend RV Resort and let me tell you, it was such a great experience! This place is not your average campground - it's like a hidden oasis right in the middle of Arizona's breathtaking landscapes.

First off, let's talk about the location. It's nestled so close to some of the most incredible slot canyons in the area. I'm talking about Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon, Rattle Snake Canyon, Owl Canyon, and of course, the iconic Horseshoe Bend. If you're into exploring and immersing yourself in nature's beauty, this place is a dream come true.
Now, let's chat about the staff. These folks really know how to make you feel at home. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of amazing. It's refreshing to encounter such friendly and welcoming people who genuinely care about their guests.
The resort is also just a stone's throw away from several fast food restaurants and a Walmart. So whether you need to stock up on supplies or satisfy your hunger cravings, everything is just minutes away.
Cleanliness? Check. Strategic location? Check. Exceptional service? Check. Convenience? Double check. Roam America Horseshoe Bend RV Resort checks all the boxes for a perfect RV adventure in Arizona. Trust me, you won't regret making this place your home away from home.
