After several generations in the restaurant business, William "Bill" Smith opened The Smith House in 1968 in Owenton, KY. Known for its down home country cooking and its made from scratch pies, The Smith House has fed several generations of Owen Countians, as well as many other citizens of this great state and country and the world. The O'Banion family take over in 2013 with the intention to preserve the past, create an atmosphere a quality & fun for the present and only add to the choices for the future. They invite you to stop in and enjoy a great meal in a wonderful country setting. All of this only an hour from Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington.
